NO one said sleeping beauty was in 3d. Just that it had a lenticular cover at bby. There is no 3d release of aladdin. Just the lenticular slipcover at bby.

No, none of the ones i said are in 3D. They simply have lenticular covers that were exclusive to Best Buy. There will be NO 3D release of Aladdin. It will be a normal release and Best Buy will have the EXCLUSIVE lenticular slip. As stated, The Little Mermaid 3D did not come with a lenticular slip.

On another note, my card was charged today for the Target exclusive digibook. I pre-ordered it back in July. Could be an authorization but usually they do that right away.

I just spoke to a Disney Movie Club cast member who told me that "Return of Jafar" and "Aladdin and King of Thieves" will be released as a two pack soon. She assumed in October, but wasn't completely sure. If that's the case I assume the release would be a DMC exclusive, at least initially.

She also mentioned "Escape to Witch Mountain" Blu-Ray would be released soon as well.

Has anyone else heard anything on these titles?

Forgot to post this when it happened - about a week and a half ago, during the runDisney Expo at the Disneyland Resort, Linda Larkin (speaking voice of Princess Jasmine) gave a talk, which included reading the famous "Do you trust me?" scene - with a member of the audience to play Aladdin. After a couple seconds no one volunteered, so I rose my hand and was picked! I was shaking and nervous the whole time, but you can't pass up an opportunity to read a scene with the REAL Disney Princess!

They are listed as "coming soon" on Disney Movies Anywhere. Hopefully they will have a deal similar to the 101 Dalmatians promo, with the Diamond edition and the two-pack for $30.

Even though Beauty and the Beast is not my favorite, I regret not getting the 3D at the time it was released. Now they are totally OOP.

I was hoping they'd do the same for Aladdin since it's one of my favorite.

Of course if Sleeping Beauty was re-released in 3D, I'd be all over it since it is my most favorite. That would be dreamy.

Fantasia would be so awesome to experience in 3D. We went to see Fantasia 2000 at the IMAX and it was fabulous.

Yeah it is. It's not happening in October like stated earlier.

DMC reps are notorious for being wrong about information for which they simply just don't know about

Beauty and the Beast is my personal favorite, and the 3D conversion blows me away compared to most 3d renderings!
