Thumbs up Please Get All Of Steve Oedekerk's Thumbs On Blu-ray!

I highly doubt that Terror Vision would be interested in these...
But then again, I honestly have no idea which boutique label seriously would...
Regardless, it can't hurt to at least put this idea out there just in case:

For the love of god, would someone consider properly restoring and releasing all of Steve Oedekerk's Thumb films on Blu-ray?!

Perhaps as a nice (box)set collecting everything together like back in the DVD days?
  1. Thumb Wars The Phantom Cuticle (1999)
  2. Thumbtanic (2002)
  3. The Blair Thumb (2001)
  4. The Godthumb (2002)
  5. Frankenthumb (2001)
  6. Bat Thumb (2001)

Whoever can make this sh*t a reality will get "two thumbs up" from me at least!

All horror. We might have one more title join but it depends on if the extras will be done in time but more than likely will shift to June. June will have quite a bit that month, too.
is there a specific date next month these announcements will be made? Will any be first announced on the next Terror Vision Youtube video?

I watched Night of the Demons last night. At first I thought I seen this before during the beginning with the lead girl and her little brother, then I realized I was probably thinking of the opening of The Funhouse. Anyway, I thought overall, NotD was a mixed bag for me. There were plenty of good one-liners and the make up effects were great. The characters were mostly typical 80s horror characters. Linnea definitely had the best one out of the group. I probably miss something since I didn't get the ending with the old woman. Next on my Linnea watchlist is Return of the Living Dead on crappy Tubi. I'll probably check out Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama as well since the disc version doesn't have English subtitles (I'm hearing impaired) Thanks for all the Linnea titles suggestions. If it's on one of the million streaming services, I'll check them out.

Ya there is definitely a lot of good stuff that needs a release.

Booooooo haha. I always thought they were silly fun, although I much prefer Chad Vader: Day Shift Manager. My girlfriend and I still quote the scene when Vader is beating up a copy machine yelling "DO MY WORK" whenever something isn't working.

I'm willing to settle for a Blu-ray of Hardware Wars (1978)...

I'm afraid I don't own this release. Just noticed that there have been German and Italian releases.

If you're thinking about Nightmare Sisters, consider getting Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama to go with it. Same director and also features Linnea with co-stars Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer.
Don't forget Creepozoids, another David DeCoteau/Linnea pairing.

If we wanted to expand the Linnea Quigley marathon, I'd also recommend The Barn and The Barn 2, a couple recent monster movie slashers, although Linnea is relegated to a cameo they're still pretty entertaining with low budget charm.

If there's a Linnea movie I'd like on blu-ray that's missing, it'd be Treasure of the Moon Goddess.

Maybe this is more of a podcast question, but I know you've mentioned doing silent films. Having recently binged a bunch of silent films it got me thinking about what should be on a release for the audio. I get that some have existing audio tracks, some have nothing, others have a written score, but no recording. What is the TV philosophy on audio tracks for silent films? I have nostalgia for old tapes with library music tracks, but love orchestral scores, and stuff like the Giorgio Moroder synth re-imaginging of Metropolis. It's sort of open ended, but what mix of tracks would you guys consider for silent film releases? I get that commissioning a new orchestral score is too much, but what path would you look at for a silent film that has no existing track?
