Never heard of it but sounds fun. These are the types of films I love to see released.

EVIL IN THE DEEP is an interesting mutant film.
It's a gorier recut of TREASURE OF THE JAMAICA REEF. The additional sequences were directed by Jim Bryan.

I watched my copy of Primal Rage last night and didn't care for it. However, it will certainly have its fans.

The huge surprise to me however, was the movie Bruce's Ninja Secret, the second feature on the Chinese Hercules double bill. That movie was 100% bonkers hilarious crazy. The awful dubbing and beat up film print made it all the better. 80 some odd minutes of complete lunacy. I LOVED it! Well worth the price imo, vey glad to have that one in my collection and I plan on watching that one over and over. Drinking increases the enjoyment level as well.

I had no idea that was a re-edit of other films, and since I didn't pay full attention, the plot actually made sense. It was a good watch.

I'm seeing more and more of this type of exploitation film fan. People who love and prefer really bad movies in horrible condition with crappy dubbing. Maybe there's a subset of folks who only watch these kinds of movies to make fun of while wasted with a bunch of buddies; I could never fit into this category. Also, another thing I can't do is sit through bad movies "just to finish them". If I don't like something I stop watching - it's as simple as that. To each his own.

Seeing a lot of these old films in pristine better than they looked theatrically condition is amazing and I wouldn't collect Blu Rays and 4ks if I didn't like it, but...for some films the beat up look adds tremendously to the overall experience.

I have a friend who , when she watches 80s movies likes to watch 600mb Avi rips of the standard DVD, when I try to get her to watch pristine Blu Rays she says it looks too good, her saying is that when she watches the Avi rips of standard DVD it "looks like an 80s movie"

I enjoy both sides, not everyone is a graphics *****.

Bruce's Ninja Secret was definitely the highlight of the double bill with Chinese Hercules. The fights with the little people armed with sickles and the women that were wearing white shirts in the ocean and on the beach were amazing. Lots of crazy stuff going on in that movie.

Same. I don't believe in terms such as 'guilty pleasure' or 'so bad it's good'. If a movie is good, it's good. If it's bad, it's bad.

If it's entertaining, it's entertaining. That's all I care about.

This is a good way to simplify it. I always thought this was the point of watching films, not to be pompous and argue over what is good or not and harp on every little thing.

Watching PRIMAL RAGE. The transfer is kind of a mess. Grain structure is all over the place. It’s fine in most scenes until it gets all clumpy and eats up the background in others. The blacks are crushed more than I’ve ever noticed in a modern release. I’ve spent more time fidgeting with the settings on my TV than actually watching the movie at this point. Black clothes and dark hair become pits of dark nothingness or pools of macroblocking. It’s not the worst, I suppose, but it’s terribly inconsistent from scene to scene. Maybe it’s a materials issue? Or maybe just a rushed restoration job?
