And it hasn't even undergone 3D emboss and glow procedures yet. This thing is going to be a knockout. That's the slipcover which features the INSECT art. The blu wrap will have the BLUE MONKEY title and art featuring the screaming head. It will not be available to purchase this weekend but I am being told the Demon will reveal the official street date when the new slip is unveiled.

Wait. DF is re-releasing SAVAGE STREETS? I saw a blip of a FB video pop up that showed Demon flexing before cutting to a mock-up of a SAVAGE STREETS insert with a DF spine. I already have the last release, so I’m not sure what else they can bring to the table. UHD? That said, I dug the cover art that was on display. So what did I miss?

Seeing as how I still haven't picked up this particular film I'm fully supportive of yet another release. This will likely be the one I snag as I have filled in a substantial amount of holes since the last one was first available so keeping films in circulation is always a plus in my book.

A new slip

Gotta love that old art. Wish other labels would use alternate VHS art for slips

A Dark Force re-release of Just Before Dawn would be most welcome too!

Another DF stream. Sounds like Savage Streets is gonna be the same disc but with a new slipcover unless I missed something.

Yay was hoping for another release of Savage Streets. Actually was going to ask if there was going to be a slipless version coming like other CR releases lately, but I guess I got my answer before I even asked it. Moving along....

The answer should be yes as the subscription package stated it included the next 24 releases starting with yeti, with only exclusions being DF upcoming modern indie horror sublabel. So unless this comes out a year from now this should be part of the deal

I would be so mad if I was a subscriber to get a triple dip of this movie. Unless the disc is a 4k scan which I doubt.

The slipcover is better than the scorpion release, and the scorpion release sells for $50 on ebay. Not much to get mad about unless you don't like making $25 profit.

Same thing has happened a couple times with VS sub program resissuing LEs as SEs. In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter because you can sell the previous release for same or more than the new release (or vice versa), and you save so much per title that with the sub you end up getting the equivalent of 10+ free movies for same price vs. if you bought them all a la carte at release.

That's the risk that goes in doing a subscription service. I have gotten one or two releases from Vinegar Syndrome that I didn't really want by being a subscriber. I still get to check the release out and get rid of it if I want.

It does sting a bit if it's the same disc unless a VS release which would be a completely new scan and a different experience.

Not too bad of a title to double dip on though.

That’s assuming one has one of the other two releases to begin with. Plus the others have held their value well so one could always sell them off or the Dark Force version. Even with VS’s subscription, as mentioned by bsend, there’s the risk there will be titles you may not be a fan of - it’s just how these things work.

Yup. Personally I'd be way more mad paying an extra $10+ after shipping per new release every single time than getting a couple titles over the course of a year I want to eBay and will make my money back from anyway.

What subscription package? I don’t see it on their site... was it a limited time thing?

Not sure it's available any longer, for a month or so they offered the option of $399 shipped for the next 24 releases ($16.66/ea)

Death Rage now has a retail release date of September 29th. Could this be the corrected disc?
