Yes, if you are even somewhat interested in getting this Blu Ray set, go ahead and get it. Getting 9 films for this price is an insanely good deal, and when they are such iconic films and given this superb treatment, they're worth paying way more for. Anyway, I pre-ordered the UK Coffin Box Set back last August and I think I ended up paying about $75, and I don't regret it whatsoever. If you've been on the fence about it at all, get it now. Chances are it will probably never get 'much' cheaper than this. Fair price for an outstanding set. Get it while you can.

I got the set last year and the Black Lagoon disc refused to load at all, but there was an obvious manufacturing defect with mine;

The replacement disc played perfectly on my Toshiba BDX3200 (and I'm pretty sure I tested it on my PS3 too).

I was thinking, "No way!" Then I noted that you are in the UK. I got excited, thinking that somehow my order, which was also placed on Saturday, would have made it to NY by today.

Aside from the clear manufacturing problem DaveSimonH had with his Creature disc the problems others (like me) had with it seem to have been established to be down to our players.

It seems that some players have a problem playing the disc, starting around chapter 7. I think it's something to do with the 3D content on the disc because my (non 3D) player has exactly the same problem with the Hitchcock Dial M For Murder disc. People who had 3D players had no problem playing it and it has to be said the vast majority of people with non 3D seem to have had no problem too - just a few of us were unlucky!

I've consoled myself with the fact that I still have my DVD of Creature when I want to watch the film and eventually I'll I'll have a new and better Blu player!
