Right now I have them stacked back corner behind my couch. I'll type up a little more later on but at least wanted to finally get these pictures up.

Hehe. Jim gave me it when I was up there. I told him we need hats, hoodies, tshirts etc. I was unable to meet Tom as he was out and about that day but I waited for a little while to see if he would be in before we had to leave. Unfortunately he had something come up so never got to meet him. Jim however was great to chat with & keep us company while we waited. He asked some opinions/thoughts on some ideas for some future products. I don't know much about subs(still learning) but Jim answered any questions I had.

At first I did a gain match but I apparently picked a dB setting to high(gain ended up at 2o'clock) so when I had them stacked I was getting like 90dB but any how I'll get to the point. I played some scenes from your usual movies. I didn't want to go past -25 or -23dB on the master vol. It felt like that side of the house was going to fall. Things started to shake an make noises that made me nervous. I kept thinking "my OMDR is going to fall off the wall." I played FOTP plane roll. I felt pressure on my chest I haven't felt before and could feel my teeth have a little chatter. So I played it again same thing. Was it to much...Yea but it was pretty cool. The next day I eventually just did a level match with them stacked. Tuned each one solo to about 72dB(analog SPL). After that both combined I got around 79dB avg with the gain on each about 12:30 position. Played FOTP again still got the same impression at -18 on master volume but not as intense of course. I'll still play around with them more and try them separated with 1 in the back left corner an the other in the opposing front right corner eventually. Just to see what I like. I wonder if I have them to close to that side wall in the back though. They are prolly 8-10" from the wall. Really need to get a good mic and setup some REW test. Also looking to upgrade my AVR to take advantage of XT32.

Not seperitly, but it eqs them as one sub, it eqs my dual empires no problem, if you keep your subs stacked, or the same distance from the main lp, you will be fine.

Sure, a complimentary coffee mug would be nice. But a complimentary XV15 would be better!

If you are looking 4 an avr with xt32 that can calibrate dual subs, accessories4less has denons 4311ci refurb for 1069.99. Mine should be here today.

I was looking at that receiver but also at the Marantz sr7007. The 4311ci looks nice with the XT32 but i keep hearing the Marantz sounds better compared to Denons although they are the same company.
