Well, the first half of the pre-credits sequence, anyway. When it got to all that arsing around in the mud, the tone was set for the rest of the movie. Let's not even bother talking about two certain henchmen and their crass depiction even for the time. Oh, and it must be pointed out that the "disguise" in YOLT just made him look like Ringo Starr on steroids.

I'd love to see another Blofeld/SPECTRE trilogy. Only more like the books and less like the movies. Of course, they kinda already did the broken down, depressed, alcoholic Bond at the beginning of Skyfall, so that would undermine a faithful adaptation of You Only Live Twice.

Ordered the Bond 50 BD set today in anticipation. I almost ordered it for $99.99 a few times during the Black Friday sales, glad I held off since it is $75.99 today at foxconnect.

Hell yeah! It was bound to happen. Bond is starting to go back to what made Bond so great. Q has returned, we got a male "M" back in control, SPECTRE is back ... all we need now are those special spy gadgets that had become so engrained as a part of spy culture.
