Are you thinking of setting up a label? That would be great.

Can add some other recent Telugu films like Ante… Sundaraniki! and Virata Parvam to that list also.

I just watched Barry & Joan in the cinema and as Screenbound are the distributor I wonder if they will at least do a DVD release. It’s not a perfect film as it’s a first time director (one of their students), sometimes with a handheld or out of focus camera, awkward fades to black and edited on Premiere Pro, but it carries itself with the warmth of its octogenarian couple keeping the traditions of commedia dell'arte/vaudeville/music hall alive after beginning in the business in the 40s/50s. There’s plenty of film references with Barry having appeared in small roles in The Red Shoes, The Tales of Hoffmann, Oh What a Lovely War!, watching a clip of the mime in Les Enfants du Paradis, clips from films and references to Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy.

Thanks. My wife comes from Andhra Pradesh, so I've been getting her to translate some of the films for me, whilst we're watching them

There's some gems amongst Indian Cinema (in general) that are crying out for a decent blu-ray release!

You are the couple to know, that I've seen and own some indian titles are easy to follow by the rest of us because a lot of the dialogue is in English, Monsoon Wedding for example. Any others, say half a dozen that you'd reccomend, please? Region does not matter. Many thanks

Red Rocket has a French Blu but I don’t think any of the European releases of Titane include English subtitles.

Sincerearest apolagies to you. Without English Audio Titane is of zero use to English people.
Red Rocket has a French Blu, yes 100% without quibble, french blu-rays have a reputation for forceing French subs on English audio. If someone has a
m-r player there is a usa release

The Amazon page does say “Currently unavailable” so maybe not a good sign that they’re actually releasing it.

usually because people are being given the chance to pre-order that title in advance for delivery close to release day. If people are 100% sure of what they are buying, I see no problem with that

Exactly, the listing was active before, and there's no updated artwork on the WB Shop listing, so it's either been delayed at best, or more likely, pulled:

That is the US Blu-ray of season one. There is no UK BD, but that is not the BBC's fault, but rather WB UK's fault.

In the belief we are talking about Gilded age, the link I provided was to warner-uk. As at about 11:30pm uk time, the Blu-ray was very much available. If you are trying to scare people into believeing that 'oh...it is a US release so it won't play on a uk player' show everyone real proof please, how do we know that the US release isn't a/b/c? Also please explain why this very site lists a uk release due in 3 weeks

I was talking about two different releases.

The first is The Gilded Age, which I believe has been delayed or pulled from the schedule, based on it disappearing from Amazon.co.uk after being available for pre-order for several weeks. It is also showing at BASE as being on DVD only. We have it listed here because it was available at one point. WB Shop listings have been wrong before and the fact that there is no updated artwork when the release is just three weeks away is another red flag, based on that and the evidence of it being pulled off Amazon and not listed at BASE, I would say the chances of it actually coming out are slim.

The second is the first season of Superman & Lois, which has only been released in the UK on DVD. There is a US Blu-ray which is listed on Amazon.co.uk, but no UK BD.

seems a bit on the weird side considering it's Superman and the poorly recieved series like Batwoman got a blu-ray release up to season 2 so far, even Doom Patrol which is only on channel 5's streaming service got a blu-ray release for both seasons

I'm still waiting for HBO to release The White Lotus. I'll even settle for a DVD only release.

I'm curious and interested, why do you believe "The first is The Gilded Age, which I believe has been delayed or pulled from the schedule"---Amazon are not the only party in town. As things stand release day is a couple of weeks ago

Superman & Lois is available on Amazon-uk as a Blu-ray region free, so possibly not cut and dry but certainly not unavailable by any means
