Because steelbooks are just one of thousands of items that Best Buy sells.

They don't tape airbags around any other items that they ship so they aren't going to have a separate shipping procedure for one type of item.

You're confusing them with a premium steelbook retailer that mainly deals in steelbooks and movies.

Best Buy, Zavvi, Amazon, Target and Walmart aren't those types of retailers.

Hahaha. I totally understand. I went through so much trouble for this, including driving to the next state over to get it, that I had to make sure it was 100% immaculate. I will definitely be getting my money’s worth and watching it at least several times in the next few months.

I took back my concave copy today and the Best Buy Associate at Customer Service exclaimed “well, isn’t this just awful?!” Lol

At one of the BBs I've returned SBs at, they literally toss them into a bin after processing the return where it'll eventually be placed on the shelf for sale. If it wasn't already damaged in transit or from the factory, it was after that.

Yeah, contrary what it may seem from threads on SBs, most people don't care about things like this.

ah c'mon. I'm grossly underpaid at my job yet I still take pride in what I do and try my best do my job as well as possible because I like to consider myself a decent human being. I'm not going to half ass my way through my job because I am bitter about the amount of money I make per hour (and yes I am bitter). When did that become too much to ask?

I think that mindset especially for someone who is mindlessly packaging movies (not vials of cures for diseases), is far and few between... I also wouldn't hold it against anyone. Do I love when they're taken care of and look great yes.

But I'm not gonna lose my mind and go insane over a dent/ding etc.


For reference there were people here who've returned so many slip covers on amazon over imperfections they got banned from shopping on amazon lol... I'll never have that level of care over movies/ games/cards etc.

If I buy something new at full sale price from a retailer, I want it to be in the best shape possible whether it's a movie, pair of shoes, refrigerator, car, etc... I don't care what it is If I wanted something that wasn't perfect, I'd go to a second-hand store or flea market.

Nobody said best possible condition... I'm referring to people who have meltdowns on the forums because of a spine slash lol or for the second time return so many products to amazon they get banned from the site
