I don't really like printing out covers on computer or photo paper...

Shame that Criterion had to release The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in a regular Blu-ray case, although I love the slipcover.

Love that Tree of Life cover, I thought you would have used the Virgin Mary poster for Virgin though lol. It's a movie that i'm cool with not including in my criterion collection but it still looks cool. Oh and the wife says hurry up and bring on Grease lol

Any help would be great. Thanks folks, and keep up the good work!
Runnersdialzero is the guy you want to talk to. His Criterion covers are quality.

I had Metrock print them for me. I can't say for myself because I haven't received my covers yet but his reviews raved about the quality.

I think he wants the same Criterion artwork, just made for a snap case. I've had some other people ask me about other Criterion titles that are only in book like cases, i.e. Dazed and Confused.

I've found it very hard to find hi res scans of these. :/. I will look for some when I get a chance.

Have you tried to ever print a double sided cover?

Would anyone consider doing a Tinker Bell collection? One with the current 3 films and the upcoming 'Secret of the Wings'?

and also, if I were to want to converse with someone about doing a custom job, who would be a contact?

Thanks!

Well, that's just like, your opinion man.

Point is, I like them and so do several other members.

And these "art house" films you speak of, Armageddon and The Rock are included in that right?

I've gone over this several times. I love the Criterion template, I'm not trying to make my Movies "Criterions".

In Alphadec's defence i'm not too sure his English is 100% so maybe his post came across a little abrupt. He has also only recently started doing covers and has displayed a few here - the recent Alistair Mclean ones.

Just trying to sit on the fence here a little

If he doesn't like the criterion covers, he can shut the **** up about it and move on, but instead he takes the time to just be a dick about it.

Guess what, alphadec: other people like different things. I for one think your covers leave a lot to be desired.
But, and again i'm just trying to see both sides, if your English isn't too good, wording things can be a problem.
It's the same when it's verbal - when people are not 100% sure how English speakers form sentences and a narrative they can often use short, sharp sentences.
I truly don't think Alphadec was being nasty, he just didn't articulate himself too well.
And i can't remember any "filp outs" personally.

You may not like his covers but at least he offers something. Hey, that's more than can be said for me. But in my defence i comment and praise covers.
Alphadec's covers aren't to my taste but he's trying - how many posters pop up once requesting/demanding covers or scans then are never heard from again? Maybe this forum is better for having people who at least have a go.

I can't comment on that as i haven't seen that post.
Anyway, let's not fall out - i'm just trying to give him the benfit of doubt given his English "barrier".

I also love the Criterion style. If it were up to me, I'd have Criterion covers for all 800+ of my movies, including such cinematic gems as Hot Rod, Nacho Libre, and Mega Shark Versus Giant Octopus.

Keep up the good work as I (and others) do appreciate all the effort.

You know how I feel about the use of the Criterion template, so I'm not going to make a stink about that anymore. That's just my opinion.

But I have to say that I LOVE the image you used for The 40-Year Old Virgin cover! LOL! I may not like the template you use, nor understand why you use it, but you sure do pick out some great stocks for your covers.
