Yep. I considered it until I saw shipping and import fees brought it to $25 CAD - still $2 cheaper than the CAD w/ tax, but given the current state of global affairs I opted for .ca

I do still feel guilty ordering anything. I don’t want anyone to risk their health and well being for a $27 doodad. Last thing I order for a good long while.

Is it just me or is Amazon.ca trying to treat this as a cash grab? Prime delivery by the end of April or you can give us more money on top of Prime and magically we are not so overwhelmed selling essentials that you can get it this week. Amazon.ca barely even sell essentials and what few essentials they sell are largely picked over. Just go look at the grocery top sellers to see what kind of "essentials" are selling. It is all Easter candy

The dumbest part is I was ordering a water filter since I realized I am going to run into issues with Fiji so I should have an alternative. I would say a water filter comes closer to essential than Easter candy.

Can you confirm that this release (assuming its the Canadian) has DOLBY VISION and DOLBY ATMOS, find it really strange that the Canadian release wouldn't have those specs. Why is it different then the US release? main reason I buy 4K discs is because of DV and DA.

It doesn't and Elevation probably don't want to pay to license them or something. Inferior discs is at least an upgrade over how many we are not getting at all these days.

Canadians always get the short end of the stick. Higher pricing, lesser quality. Or in terms of food, higher pricing, smaller portions.

PS: it's a licensing thing. They don't want to pay for Dolby Atmos and/or Dolby Vision. Don't forget, say, if a disc has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, that means they have to pay licensing for HDR10, regular Dolby, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. Weird? well, that's how it works.

They did it with their last 4K release (Cold Pursuit) so its not surprising that this one is missing it as well. Just waiting for the US release of Midway to go on sale so I can pick it up. The first 4K titles that Elevation put out like Hacksaw Ridge had Atmos so Elevation just got cheap on us.

That is interesting. Does someone keep a list of Canadian movies that are inferior to US or are we able to generalize certain labels are putting out inferior releases.

I think I remember seeing that in a Giant Tiger and it came in a black 5-disc Viva Elite case inside a cardboard sideloading slipcase.

There's also this 5-pack, with a slightly different film assortment, that also came in a black 5-disc case.

I bought it for my younger brother, from a Giant Tiger I think, years ago.
