i finally got Eris to level 3. now that i got the husk to eidolin ally. how do i get it to exotic? and another question. is this gun worth keeping?

You have to have some luck on your side and hope the game decides to give you the Crux of Crota as a reward for beating Crota in the new raid on hard mode.

The Ally is a terrible gun though. Even in PvE it's not that great, and in PvP it's even worse, like 14 damage for a headshot.

Hopefully the exotic upgrade makes it a whole different beast. But I'm not holding my breath.

Dismantling a leveled Black hammer does give extra Radiant Energy. Thats good to know should I ever reach Eris rank 4.

I had an arm piece leveled up to the last column and only got 2 radiant shards when I dismantled it.

Again sorry for the total noob post, but how in the world are you guys getting such powerful armor and weapons??? I'm a lvl 11 warlock now and my def is 188 and my weapon is 64😥. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Until you hit level 20, you cant equip legendary gear.
Thats when the real game actually starts. Play vanguard bounties and save. Or if you like mutliplayer play crucible bounties.

I get a bunch of legendary gear from blue and legendary engrams. Or else I buy gear from vanguard . But a lot of good stuff comes from raid.

Cool note: If you have the expansion, there is easy chest on the crota raid that is on the immediate left after dropping down the hole. You know its there if there is a light above the door. If its not there, wipe and do it again. No team needed, repeatable every Tuesday. I got a cloak, fusion rifle, and mats.

got my hunter to level 16.5 today. should have him to 20 by Saturday I would think......then I can equip all of my legendary/exotic armor and jump up high enough to be able to get in on some raids w/him.

can someone tell me quick....I have a legendary helmet from the dlc, an exotic chest piece prior to the dlc, and legendary gloves and boots prior to the dlc.

what level will I jump to when I equip all of that right off the bat??

Assuming your pieces are not raid gear their base light should be 24 + 21 + 18 + 18 = 81 respectively which means your light level will be 26 (6 light short of L27)

Your max level would be 33 + 30 + 27 + 27 = 117 which mean L29 (3 light short of L30).

Might want to check just in case the numbers are off.

Finally! After leveling 3 guardians to 30, 29 and 28 and handing in a shed load of Vanguard and Crucible Bounties, I've just got my first ever Exotic Bounty
I had the choice of:
A Dubious Task - Invective Shotgun
Tolands Legacy - Bad Juju Pulse Rifle
A Light in the Dark - Thorn Hand Cannon

I went for 'A Light In the Dark' as I hate shotguns and the wife has got Bad Juju which I didn't like. Plus I wanted another good hand cannon as I have already got The Last Word for PvP and I'm seeing a lot more people use Thorn since the last buff it got.
