Default Indiana Jones Collection

Almost done with the Indy set. Its been a long tough one. Not easy making a matching set. Just need to fix the hat on #2 and #4, clean up the wording on #2 and finish the wording for the box set, then it will be finally done. My eyes hurt!! lol It should be all done tomorrow. Thanks to the guys who have been patiently waiting for this request.

Great job on the Indy! But are you sure you want to put a picture of the very ending of Raiders on the back?

Funny that the back of Crystal Skull is blank. It's like "Sorry...I got nothin' to say about this piece o' shit."

Yeah the ending picture is fine, for that one soul who hasnt still seen it, they wouldnt know its a shot from the end... And it was requested so for now just gonna stay with it. Maybe change it later.

And not sure what you see blank on crystal skull, its not blank. It has full images and write up like the others. Maybe an image glitch?

Interesting because none are blank except for the anthology. Hmmm. I can see them all on several different computers.

I dig what you are doing with your front covers & spine in the last few you have pumped out. I'm guessing that you are just going to stick with the new Special Features or anything else on the back with all of them correct?

Very nice work, dv8pdx.

Looking forward to printing out the first three/bonus features when I finally get around to buying the set. I might even print out the cover to the 4th movie, just so it looks nice when I give it away to my brother.

I found an awesome custom for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies over at CustoManiacs. Previews of the front/back cover area shown below.

Great site by the way. Registration at the site and subscription fee required to download covers there. Well worth the price of admission.

I like the concept. Wish it looked more like the good guys box on the front (kind of looks like its been mocked up in ms paint), maybe a little more blood on the back to fill out the empty space. But I love the thought put into it

Its a really decent cover, not just sure the motivation compared to the child's play, Friday the 13th, and Halloween ones which use a small but unique element to each film as the key art. I could see you going with some slaughtered lamb signage at the front key art. Just my thought though. Keep with the great work

Has anyone created (or even scanned the existing) single covers for Fox / MGM's 7-disc release of Marilyn Monroe films? The "Forever Marilyn" cardboard packaging Fox issued the discs in is just terrible.

Appreciate any help any members can provide...

i'm not sure or not. i might leave the back blank, because i already know what the movie is about and what is on it. i know there are alot of completists on here who want everything, and by no means am i just doing these covers up for myself, they are free for everyone who wants one. i am starting to get addicted to making these custom covers. maybe i will do up one with summary, special features and credits and one blank. i like the blank personally. it is just simpler.

yeah, i only ripped this one out in about an hour last night, and that included researching some pictures to use. i looked up some "animated blood drip" and it looks good when its at its regular color, but i faded it some, so it would be a little transparent, but now that i look at it again, i should have left it the way it was with the full blood. i will tinker with it again a little tonight if i get the chance. i was thinking about making the whole front cover just the sign, sort of like how the Halloween one is the matchbook, and the Child's Play one is the doll box.

yeah, i went with a comic book look for it, just messing around. it was after i completed my Halloween matchbook one ( which i love ), and the whole item from a movie thing never really popped into my head until i was making the Child's Play one, when i was trying to create the doll box. but now, i might start going this way with my next batch of covers. taking an item from a movie that has some kind of recgonizeable significance with the movie and putting it as either my front cover or entire cover with extra stuff added. i have been thinking about the slaughtered lamb since i have done my Child's Play cover the other night though, and i am excited to try that one out.

wish me luck, lol

I'm loving these! I've been working on slightly similar ones keeping the style of the DVD set, I just can't decide if I want to use individual cases or put them all in one. I also love how you managed to use the artwork from the inside of the new set.
