I slowed down for a while because I believed enough is enough. But? There's too many movies I want. Then there's the family. I can't be selfish and not think about them so it continues to grow.
Never did I ever think I'd come close to 3000 but that will probably be the number by the end of 2017. 3000!!!

If everything goes according to plan, getting the Zatoichi collection next month will put me over 1,400. This year should have me close out around around 1,423.

My purchasing has slowed down and I find myself getting rid of a few titles every now and then. I told myself that once I run out of space, I was going to stop. Luckily, I have two shelves left.

Buy multi cases.
Shove series of movies into them, print out corresponding sleeve art, and you will save even more space...
Also, you wouldn't believe the amount of shelf space you will save just by getting rid of all of the slipcovers!

Those are good ideas, but I could never do them. I don't obsess over slipcovers, but if a movie comes with one, I cannot get rid of it. Same thing with "frankensteining" movies into sets (lol). Me slowing down has more to do with money issues and just not a whole lot that I want anymore. I used to be like "I got to have everything", but that mentality died out for me.

The space I have may last me a few years. Even now, I'm thinking of getting rid of some.
