What I would really like to know, is how accurate are Amazon's inventory numbers? I've got this horrible scenario in my head where I: Keep my Amazon pre-order, cancel my order from Shout, but then receive some email from Amazon mid-September saying they don't have stock of my item...

Will Amazon be overwhelmed and keep taking pre-orders past their ability to fulfill them?

This is why I wanted to buy from Diabolik but if they're not putting it online... I can still cancel amazon pre-order if needed.

If you can place a preorder, you'll get one. Amazon's inventory system is excellent.

All these decisions about Nightbreed and Halloween are driving me crazy.

Save 20 @ Amazon or get it @ shout with a better number and early.

Spend twice as s much on Halloween with 10-15 autogtaphs or use the discount at blowitoutahere and save half.plus I dont know how blows shipping is to know If Ill gt a damaged product or not.

Help me out here guys idk what to do.

It's funny because I'm usually the type of person that get's enraged when I buy something and find it cheaper even by $1 a day or two later, however yet for some reason I'm not really that bothered by Amazon having it for $20 less. I guess it comes down to the fact that Shout put in all this effort for this release, I'd rather pay a little more directly to them to show my support (I know others probably won't agree, but that's just me).

Also helps getting it 2 weeks early with a free poster.

I was going to post this exact thing. I am totally fine paying more for this to support them. Also, for once, the poster is pretty sweet.

Just listened to the podcast about the audio, and it would take them years to go through every piece of audio they have. The decision to use the cabal cut audio in places they cannot find the audio for the visuals is best, because in theory by the time they have this perfect, they would probably be in the red financially. It's barely being made as is.

Not to say its not frustrating, though. Hahaha. I wish a major studio could throw money at them to make this pristine. Also, as somebody who has edited my share of audio and video, I feel their struggle of how to piece that all together. My head wants to explode thinking about it.

Kind of makes me wonder what type of audio track we will get for the Dir Cut. I am fine with 2.0 stereo but something tells me it could end up being DD 2.0 and not even an HD audio track. I realize if the audio is as bad as what people are thinking maybe they don't want that in HD but I say HD audio even if it is crappy better than Crappy and just DD 2.0 if that is their options.

I am keeping my pre order with shout. I don't trust Amazon when it comes to this. Maybe Amazon U.S. is different but when I pre ordered Hellgate arrow video through Amazon UK I almost got screwed because when it came closer to release date Amazon pushed it back because they didn't get enough copies since it was limited to 1,000 So I canceled my order with them and was lucky enough to still get a copy directly from the Arrow Store. For 20.00 more I will have a piece of mind to know I am going to get a copy of Nightbreed LE without any problems plus a poster and two weeks early. In my eyes that is worth the extra 20.00
