Oh come on, we need to know the life stories of each of the camp counselors and the campers who didn't help Jason. We need to know what made them that way and what Jason's death did to them psychologically in the future.

Seems like it's more of a marketing umbrella for different stuff rather than a full blown cinematic universe.

You know I wouldn’t mind if they remade the Tommy storyline. But the whole prequel with his mom just sounded like grabbing for straws.

That seems to be what has happened, though - Horror Inc is saying they have teamed up with Victor Miller, which are the two parties that were part of the lawsuit to begin with. And given that Fuller had said they have access to everything Friday the 13th for the series that was going to happen, it seems like those deals have all been made - they apparently just can't figure out what the F to do with them...

My dream Friday the 13th movie:

A massive, fully functional camp (that can act as its own character) populated with "White Lotus"-esque (fun and morally ambiguous) characters. As well as a side story involving some of the series' survivors teaming up. It all comes to a head during the finale.

I want to see a Friday film featuring all the surviving final girls from Parts 2 - VIII coming together at the former Camp Crystal Lake to confront their fears and overcome their shared "trauma."

It'd be fun to see those actresses reprise their roles and take on Jason one more time. They're all in mid 50's to mid 60's, but age wasn't an issue with JLC returning for the DGG Halloween trilogy. Of course, there would be some younger actors (male and female) added for supporting roles.

Just keep in dark, atmospheric, intense, with great kills and exciting chase sequences. And of course Harry Manfredini back to score incorporating some of his popular themes/cues from the earlier installments.

I still jump on Friday the 14th the game for single player, a shame that they had to pull the plug on that game.

Paul's fate was more explained in an interview with Peter Bracke, author of Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th. In the Friday the 13th Part II DVD features, there is a picture of Paul with a huge scar on his head and a dead, shocked face indicating that Jason did kill Paul. Also in the DVD, Bracke reveals that there was an unused ending in the movie: after Ginny questions where Paul is, the scene switches to Mrs. Voorhees' head, which opens her eyes and smiles, confirming that Jason had killed Paul in cold blood. However, like the unused picture of a dead Paul, they thought it looked too silly when they filmed it. As a result, it was taken out of the movie.
