Oh I agree that supporting the format is good. I just saw a wasted an opportunity with a steelbook that would have sold quite a few units. Instead we get a bunch of mindless stuff for the kiddies and teenagers. On the flip side I should just be thankful that we got a BD release in the first place.

I'm sure a steelbook will happen. It took quite a while for the first three to get US steelbooks. That's just a US thing, and being so far behind on goodies like that compared to the rest of the world.

Those do not count as it was a trilogy steelbook that is G1 in size. I'd like to have all four separately in steelbooks eventually.

Amazon has also dropped the 3D version to $24.99, with a $5 gift card after it ships. I don't think Best Buy is offering the $5/250 points for the 3D version.

So is $24.99 the cheapest that the regular (non-tin) 3D edition is? Looks like Amazon may be the best bet with the gift card if so.

Yep, it looks like it. I'll be going with the regular 3D edition from Amazon. And, if you have a Chase Freedom credit card, you'll get 5% back at Amazon this quarter.

Target.com updated the picture of the 2D Limited Edition to show that there's a sticker stating bonus content. It's only visible in the full listing when you click on the image, it is not visible in the search results.

I know I saw something that said they come out on the 18th, but I don't know where or when it was I saw it...
