I'm very glad for two things:

1) Vareity
2) Different people liking different thing(basically akin to #1)

As long as folks are supporting the format, I'm good.

Oh I agree that supporting the format is good. I just saw a wasted an opportunity with a steelbook that would have sold quite a few units. Instead we get a bunch of mindless stuff for the kiddies and teenagers. On the flip side I should just be thankful that we got a BD release in the first place.

I'm quite happy with my bookends and tin set!
I'm sure a steelbook will happen. It took quite a while for the first three to get US steelbooks. That's just a US thing, and being so far behind on goodies like that compared to the rest of the world.

Those do not count as it was a trilogy steelbook that is G1 in size. I'd like to have all four separately in steelbooks eventually.

Amazon has also dropped the 3D version to $24.99, with a $5 gift card after it ships. I don't think Best Buy is offering the $5/250 points for the 3D version.

So is $24.99 the cheapest that the regular (non-tin) 3D edition is? Looks like Amazon may be the best bet with the gift card if so.

Yep, it looks like it. I'll be going with the regular 3D edition from Amazon. And, if you have a Chase Freedom credit card, you'll get 5% back at Amazon this quarter.

It appears so. I keep wondering if the damn tin is actually worth it.

Default Jurassic World (2015) Best Buy pre-order

Target.com updated the picture of the 2D Limited Edition to show that there's a sticker stating bonus content. It's only visible in the full listing when you click on the image, it is not visible in the search results.

[Show spoiler]

Too bad the Target $5 gift card promotion for Jurassic World ended yesterday, now that Amazon and Best Buy are running their own bonus promotions.

Think I may have to bite on the bookend version after the price drop. $20 more than I would pay for the steelbook.

Hmmm...
The
-Jurassic Park
-The Lost World
-Jurassic Park III
tins, in last weeks flyer say they are available on the 18th.
Yet the website still says the 20th...
Anyone know when they actually get released?

That's odd...
It wasn't the flyer.
I know I saw something that said they come out on the 18th, but I don't know where or when it was I saw it...

You probably saw it on the same thing that had all the Age of Ultron character slips listed on it.
