Hot compress and then some put some tea tree oil on it, do this twice a day for a week.

My brain is fuzz.

So, the husband dislocated his ankle on a job in Salt Lake City. The doctor said no flying. His folks live in Montana and they picked him up at the hotel I stuck him in after he was discharged from the hospital.

The son and I thought it was a great idea to drive up from TN and bring him back. We'd take our time, go visit my sister in Oklahoma and all that.

We left on Friday and arrived on Sunday. Pushed it hard to get there in short order. Then come to find out he only had enough pain meds to last until tomorrow. So, we booked it back to TN. Got in very late last night.

Don't let anyone ever tell you that 4400 miles in five days isn't possible for a single driver. It is. I just wouldn't recommend it.

He's okay and I'm a zombie right now.

Christmas Time 2007...
On Friday morning I drove from Modesto, CA down to just north of LA. Turned East. Drove through TX. Bad accident and traffick so I took a detour. Wound up in OK. Took that Route and wound up back in TX. back onto the original road and back in TX. Kept going headed east until just before Nashville. Headed North. Followed that up to just north of NYC, headed south around the other side of the city. then east again on the LIE and out to Montauk. Got there very, very early Sunday morning. I was by myself the entire time.

I know! It's so vague, I'm hoping its positive like she was finally offered that promotion she deserves but was turned down for recently due to a bad evaluation administered by a jerk supervisor. Of course I'm not sure if that would be great news as it would be a heavier workload.

I've been seeing the Flat Earth people a lot lately.
I think they are trolls and don't really believe it at all. I hope I'm right... If they really do... oh man, are we ever doomed!

It's such a weird thing to suddenly believe. People are so desperate to rebel against society that we're starting to get dumb sh*t like the flat earth we movement. Yes, they're entirely serious. Yes, some of these people believe it. Their explanations are beyond stupid too.
