Ok, law212, what's the verdict on superstrip 3d?

I know this is for movies, but last night I played Crysis 2 on PC in 3D for the first time and oh my god did it make the game so much more immersive. The 3D was incredibly strong and the sense of depth is something ive never experienced before.

It makes me want to replay the trilogy over again in 3D. It was far better than the 3D in most movies.

Just got my copy this week. I don't think this is a masterpiece but I did find it enjoyable. The 3D for me worked very well.

Just finished watching:

I found the 3d to be mostly mild but had a handful of pop-outs of the "in your face" variety that actually made me duck. That is something that doesn't happen often to me. Aside from the 3d, the movie was about 25 minutes too long. Still, it managed to be quite entertaining and lest someone gets the wrong idea, I recommend it wholeheartedly. Who can resist a 3d gorilla that plays baseball?

Hi Damon,

While you're one of the few who gave this a bit less than a 100% glowing review, I'm glad you really liked and recommended it, especially since I was one who highly recommended it to you! .

When one feels the need to duck, then you know the 3D has done its job.

I'm a mets fan but have to wonder how Mr Go would do against our pitching, that was the second worst in the league. Probably would launch one from Citi Field which would land in Great Neck (for those not in New York, if it landed at Yankee Stadium it would be foul).

Just watched Despicable Me 3 and again laughed our asses off with very good 3D. So glad there was an all region copy and why this was not released in North America by Universal like the first two and Minions I cannot understand.

Then we cried when finding out the fourth installment won't be released till 2024.

Ha! Me, I guess

Watched I, Robot - found it very enjoyable. Strong 3D and the 16:9 ratio helped. Only thing was the edges of characters didn't look right sometimes and every once in a while objects didn't look quite right in their 3D placement. But despite minor quibbles with the conversion, I always enjoy a Will Smith flick and if it's in 3D, all the better!

My 3D watch list:

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for letting us know you found the 3D to be strong on I Robot. The review on this site said it was quite weak. I enjoyed the movie bit have been hesitant to purchase it because of those remarks.
