Lol, I stated already that i don't like any director attached to the Marvel Cinematic Universe or any of their films. Sam Raimi is an exception.

As for the MCU, I like Thor but i flat out dislike all the other 22 films. It seems clear i don't like that films you also didn't like from the Russo's...

...in defense, Dr. J dunks on blacktop, THAT court is the BOMB, and the little kid driving his real name is James Bond III. Jonathan Winters plays TWO people and Tark the Shark is the head coach of KAJ. Plus its got that 70's funk soundtrack.
EDIT: And for "The Godfather" fans, Frank Pentangeli wasn't off'ed by the Corleones, he was the asst. coach of the Pisces!

It has been years since I've seen either, but TFTSP has one major advantage: it doesn't star Rosie Perez.

We were at the Arena when they were filming.

Yeah, fair enough. Dunno why he's a mixed bag too.

I like The Revenant, it's well directed, great acting, great cinematography and has some epic scenes. It might be a matter of taste, but i think it's great.

But still, I would say that every single film ever made > Blue Velvet.

It's a terrible film in every conceivable way...except one.

I tried watching it again last year and I was just so angry the entire time at how f**king awful it is. I mean, I generally think 15 year-old me had pretty good taste in film, but how I hate myself for ever thinking that was a good film.

Not saying Leo didn't deserve the Oscar, but in just a few years when you ask people what they remember most about "The Revenant" the most uttered phrase "raped by a bear..." doesn't seem to have interwoven future Oscar greatness into it's soul. Sadly, I think "The Shape Of Water" is going to find similar comparisons as well.

That Aerosmith song from Armageddon is a crime against humanity. Every time if comes on the radio here (which is often) I want to drive the car off the road into a telephone pole. Movie is even worse.
