Meh I think it offers something exciting and unique to the package. Slip should be something that is notably different than regular cover art. Most pointless is when slip has exactly same art as main cover, might as well just not include it at that point.

My order #9262 is still in pre-shipment, i got this notice on July 21 and no movement, anyone else experiencing this?

Mine is the same way

I emailed them and it seems some are stuck at the post office or lost so they may have to ship out another order.

USPS is just having issues... nearly everything I've gotten recently, from anywhere, has gone from this stage to "out for delivery" or "delivered"

Anyone hazard a guess when ‘weekend’ means? We talking Sat morning, afternoon, night, Sunday? So vague and the whole FOMO posts on facebook just remind me of those Winter’s Night days when its expected that we check the site every 5 minutes for 24 hours until it opens.
I just want to buy a couple of frickin’ movies, man......

What’s the etiquette/wait time on asking for a replacement? I was just going to buy Blue Monkey again and sell my other copy if it ever shows up. Ordered two weeks ago, shipped a week ago, hasn’t updated for five days now - not preshipment, actually made it to a PO but nothing since.

Contact the PO. One week isn't very long, especially if they used media mail. However, it sounds like it arrived pretty quickly to the PO (~2 days; origin or destination?) after shipment so it appears the PO may be sitting on it.

I think $6 flat shipping is perfectly acceptable in today's climate. HB charges $4 flat.
Still, there are many vendors that have made $50 or more the free shipping threshold norm.
Basically the package system has been overloaded since covid. Doesn't matter what carrier it is, it has been 'Christmas ' levels of packages all year. I live in a relative average sized city, the UPS driver that delivers packages to my work has his truck packed full every single day. Same with our mail carrier... it is what it is.

HB does, but they don't sell at inflated prices either.
