Yes and no.

I agree, it's a tease, and that can be annoying at times. I've been guilty of this myself, mainly with the Bond covers, but I generally don't post previews of covers I can't share.

However, I don't agree that only share-able covers should be shown here. To me, this thread functions as both a place to get exposure for the work I do, and as a source of inspiration from other designers. So, even if a cover is not available to share, I like to see that artwork posted here.

Some people are here to download, some people are here to show off and some people are here to share. I think this thread has room to embrace them all.

I'm personally always willing to share my covers, i just don't like public download links because in the past it's often resulted in theft of my work, so i only share through pm. Often with artists here its just a matter of asking through pm, i'm sure a lot of them would like to help you out, i would. Unless it's a commission of course, but that's more than understandable.

I understand your Bond covers were a private commission but what are the chances you'll be able to make them available to the rest of us here?

I can answer that question...that would be entirely up to the person who commissioned the work.

I like it! The first version is great, but I do think the new one is even better. And it is much less of a hassle than trying to fix the text being over the hat (which I can only imagine being an extremely huge pain to fix)!

I just bought the Scandinavian Indy Box, and there is no text over the hats there. I can provide scans to anyone who needs those hats text-free.

Thanks for the Bond updates, DrrnHarr.

While giving your covers a proper look over, I realised that the spine number on For Your Eyes Only is wrong; it's 14 when it should be 12.

Weird...I checked my psd file and it had "12".

Anyway, I reposted the file to CM...if you PM me an e-mail address I will send a new version so you don't have to spend 3 credits.
