FWIW amazon.ca sucks when it comes to labeling UHDs.

There are numerous 4k releases that state [Blu-Ray] in the title, despite having the specs and images of the 4k edition.

Good preorder price of $20 for Whiplash 4K on Amazon.ca.

The rear label has both Canadian and U.S. ratings on it, as well as indicating the digital code is for Movies Anywhere. Does that mean Sony is doing a single North American release, much like the Warner Bros. stuff of late? Maybe I'll be able to get a 4K digital copy out of Sony instead of the usual HD!

I got the 4K version and it did come with digital copies. However, there were reports from folks that didn’t get them. Sony was weird and probably only included digital copies on the very first batch.
