No mention of the rumored Metroid Prime 2 and 3 remaster. I wonder if it actually exists?

Buy Switch 2, put Nintendo ID on it and your library appears. If you're keeping two consoles in the house this is where VGC comes into play. But you will absolutely still need to download games from your library.

I like the lending a game feature, but the virtual cards should’ve stopped there.

downloading a game on 1 system only is a step backward, what are they thinking?

Also coming to Playstation and PC. From what I've seen it's being developed by Hyde under license from SONY by Namco Bandai.

This and Patapon were surprises for me for sure.

Biggest disappointments of the direct..

1. No Metroid Prime 4 release date.

2. No Metroid Prime 2 & 3 Remastered announcement.

3. No mention of Kirby Planet Robobot.

I wonder why we haven’t gotten a date for Pokemon ZA. I doubt that is also a launch game for Switch 2.

I’ve been hoping AGAINST that.

Give it to us as Switch 2 ports instead so we can get 1440p60 or more out of them instead of dynamic 1080p60.

Don't sleep on Everybody's Golf! I've been playing it since PS4 and IMO its the best golf game still! Way better than Mario Golf Super Rush!

Apparently digital games can still be downloaded on 2 systems:

"able to load a "digital game card" on a 2nd system. Can load up to 2 systems"

I was thinking you'd download it similar to when you put a cart into a Switch, only from your other Switch rather than the store (and then sync it with your cloud data). But maybe I'm thinking about it incorrectly. Only watched it once.

About what I expected from the last Switch Direct. Wasn't a Direct I was going to care much about either way. Never understood the love for Tomodachi Life (a social sim game with average to mediocre reviews), but hey, it does have it's niche audience.

Probably better they announced next to nothing at this Direct. It probably means more games (even some of the rumored remasters, like Twilight Princess, Wind Waker, Kirby) were shifted to the Switch 2.

These are the games I'm hyped to play, after I buy them in a few years during dirt cheap sales.

I don't pre-order/pay full price anymore, I'm broke and I've got a backlog in the HIGH hundreds.

I used to buy ALL my preordered games from Best Buy whenever they held one of those B2G1 deals for members. Could pickup $60 games for $40. They haven't had one in aged though.
