There's not a lot to be said. I cannot tell you how many times this topic pops up over ownership of a custom cover. No one agrees on it, so there's no resolution. I'd rather not see this blow up again and again. It ruins the thread as well as the fun of creating custom covers, and looking at them too.

sorry, I built those from scratch, including the title treatments, spine bandings, leather details and backgrounds (which were re-drawn for me in hi-res), nothing was used from WB except the studio logos. Not hacked up like your trying to insinuate.

Something like this isn't to be hidden in PM's. Just addressing the issue to protect peoples work. If everyone wants to support people using other peoples "graphic work", then I can move on. Not a problem for me to go elsewhere and stop sharing designs here.

didn't say you stole my ideas, just my artwork, its clearly a re-use of what I made, down to the little details and veins in the leather, not what WB put out. Thats all Im saying. I did the search as you stated above and it goes right to my post in this thread of my full res images.... -

I thought they were official does it matter? I used what i thought were official because i wanted the same design for my ones!

Again none of your design is original its a carbon copy of the official dvds!

So i genuinley dont know what your trying to prove!

Okay. Honest mistake. I can see how these were easily mistaken for the official DVD artwork. No infringment intended. Still, an apology would have been prudent.

You'll find that designers are very protective of their work (including myself), so you have to be careful where you source artwork from. There are no rules set in stone, but official, studio-owned artwork I consider fair game. Custom stuff, best to ask first or avoid altogether.
