Yeah, okay. This sounds like you're cutting a promo, not running a business, "General Tom."

Not funny. But I've never been a big fan of soap operas, manufactured drama and the like. They should just put all of this energy into putting out blu-rays. Things would be way better that way.

You mean like Synapse? We've seen how that works out. I'll take a bit of theatrics every now and then as it keeps me entertained between releases.

These things happen. Usually due to someone not using the forklift for its intended purpose.

Hey folks these last few pages of posts have been priceless. Apparently the Demon himself has been laughing to tears reading them. It's been a welcome break from the bad luck we have been having with Blue Monkey. But all joking aside is it just us or does anyone else think Synapse sounds like a diet soda pop.

Synapse is a better label than Dark Force, their transfers are also better and the majority of time have way more special features.

No one is denying that they do quality work, but it's pretty hard to call yourself a Blu Ray label when your output consists primarily of vintage 8mm porn reels on DVD and maybe a single Blu Ray every 2 - 3 years. When Synapse can be bothered to release a Blu Ray they are hard to beat, but in most instances I'll side with the labels providing good to great products each month over the company that decides to release 1 "perfect" product every few years... especially when that 2-3 year waits ends up being for a title no one wants or one that has already had a very good Blu Ray release.

I have one for The Last Dragon. That apparently only turned up in a handful of Walmarts. I had to search a few to find it.

I don't like the fact that Synapse is getting the rights to these, so that nobody else can release them and then taking years to release them. It's bad as the films can't be obtained until their licence runs out. It's also bad for the copyright holder as their film is tied up and they arent getting royalties. They need to stop monopolizing titles that they may not even release. We'll likely need to wait for the rights to expire before someone else releases films like Massacre at Central High.

This belongs in the Synapse thread but I doubt anyone from the company will even see it. If there is a list of labels that are annoying me most, Synapse would likely be at the top of the list.
