Sorry, but I just don’t see Blue Monkey as a $35, barebones purchase. It’s not a freaking Criterion release. And it’s not a particularly good movie.

Yeah but if the replicator didn't keep the palettes so long then we wouldn't be able to have the forklift accident

I wound up grabbing a copy of the new Black Dragon/Enforcer from Death Row double feature. The 6 bucks shipping kind of stung real bad, but the 12 bucks price tag suckered me in. I had fun with the other two Kung Fu double features (well 3 out of 4 Kung Fu flicks), and the Black Dragon trailer looks like a blast - so what the hell!

The subscription - is it like VS's service, where you can only jump onboard twice a year or is there an active buy-in at any time?

You must not have that much experience Zarak so let Dark Force give you a little lesson in distribution. We pay to store several of the inventory there by the pallet. Why would we want to ship the entire run to Los Angeles when several months down later a bunch needs to go to MVD to distribute to the stores?? We have the inventory drop shipped straight from the replicator. But please keep up the forklift Gif's. Absolutely hilarious and we'll have a Diet Synapse with that burger.

Are you slow gbm or what? We were talking about the inventory in general. All the custom slipcover releases sold extremely well. The first one with DEAD PIT sold out in record time at our store. Same with ATOR. BREEDERS sold out between our store and the major stores. BLUE MONKEY has barely been out a few weeks and we sold through half of the 2000 run. We were preparing to move the the other half to LA before the accident. Depending on how many were damaged in total, it may be close to being sold out right now. Just for the record we wouldn't keep doing these very expensive 3D glow in the dark slipcover editions if they did not sell extremely well...we wouldn't be doing the expensive BD50 drive-in double features if they weren't selling very well...and so on...and so on...
