For now cheaper. Amazon's price often fluctuates. Even still I'd rather go local for a few dollars more even if it's Amazon.

Catalog titles rarely change on amazon ca price wise. I cant remember the last time amazon ca has had Olive, Kino, Shout or Warner Archive sales like WoWHD has had.

My Vincent Price collection pre-order went down to 49.99 when I ordered it at $55.99. Price fluctuations can happen on Amazon and the lowest price sticks to your preorder. I don't know about wowhd.

Also I want more 4k titles to appear in Canadian retailers. Buying local encourages that trend.

Note: I did preorder Mad Max 4K from wowhd at $30 but I will cancel it the moment I see a Canadian retailer carry it at a reasonable price. (The price on Unobstructed View is ludicrous!)

Yeah but we're talking about a preorder of a boutique label 4K title (They Live, Mad Max). Early adapter type stuff. There are factors other than price to consider.

For anyone interested, Akira (anime) 4K appears to be available for pre-order for December. This is a pretty in-demand 4K title, going for $150+ on eBay lately, so picking it up for $50 for a special edition is fine by me:

Just noticed that Batman: The Animated Series is $52.99, the lowest I've ever seen it, but it won't ship for about a month or two.

Does anyone know if the Canadian version includes a digital copy? I'm assuming it dousn't.

Sorry to say, skip, it does not.

In fact, most WB distributed shows released here will most likely be just the blu. My Samurai Jack came with a DC but it was US only. I contacted WB about that and they told me go kick rocks.

Thought so, but thanks for confirming it.

I'm not sure if I'll order it now or not, though I feel like I should, but it's currently airing on TV in HD.
Also, there's a lot of other stuff I wanna get this month, and I'm trying not to spend too much. (but I'm not doing a very good job )

Reviews aren’t too great, but I ordered the 5-film 4K Bourne collection, down to $44.99. Also threw in E.T. 4K for $11.99 and The Big Lebowski for $12.99.
