It explains why the role effectively aborted his fledgling acting career.

So the Dark Side turns you from a whiny brat teenager into a bad ass adult?

We need to find a way to inject the Dark Side into pimple creams and braces.

No the calculated mental breakdown that was orchestrated by Palpatine after the death of Anakins mother that led him to snap and all that he believed in being thrown out the window figuratively and literally along with the belief that his wife was dead at his hands turned him into a person that literally their only reason to live was to serve their master.

Form III: Essentially a development on Form I blast-deflect training, Soresu relied on tight bladework and subtle dodges to provide maximum defensive coverage, minimizing exposure to ranged weaponry.

Form IV: Ataru was characterized by Force-assisted acrobatics, such as somersaults and leaping strikes, both for attack and defense. Another characteristic of the form was its fast, powerful strikes from multiple directions.

Form V: Shien, considered the classical Form V, was more adept at blocking blaster bolts, whereas Djem So was developed later and intended for lightsaber combat. Both Shien and Djem So were designed to use an opponent's attack against them, as evidenced by Shien's focus on returning blaster bolts to their origin and Djem So's emphasis on immediately striking back after a blow.

Form VI: Niman balanced out between the various specializations of the other forms, covering many of the basic moves, but focusing on overall moderation. This resulted in a fighting style that lacked a significant advantage, but also lacking any serious drawbacks, and thereby not leaving adherents as exposed as some of the more aggressive or specialized forms.

Form VII:The Juyo incarnation of Form VII was described as the most vicious form of lightsaber combat and was said to involve significant internal focus on the part of the user. A new variation of Form VII, dubbed Vaapad was created by Jedi Masters Mace Windu and Sora Bulq. Vaapad was explained as being a state of mind rather than just a fighting style, allowing the wielder to channel his own inner darkness into the duel, and accept the fury of the opponent.

Yoda primarily used Form IV Ataru, Mace Windu primarily used Form VII Vaapad and Maul primarily used Form VII Juyo.
Thanks this is what I was going for.

I liked how they used this in Knights of the Old Republic II.

What's the skinny on the IMAX footage for this movie? Can we expect shifting AR for The Force Awakens?

Yeah and while they are feeling each other out they still jab which is still a punch thrown. They don't just stand toe to toe and and shadow box without ducking or moving out of the way of an on coming punch.

The sequence that has all these panties a'bundling lasted all of what? Four seconds? Five?

Are you saying you've never seen a fight with a several second span of nothing but footwork and feinting? I don't think I've ever seen a fight that doesn't have spans like that.

Hell, I don't think I've ever seen a round that doesn't have spans like that.

Ken Shamrock vs Dan Severn at UFC 9, it was like 30 minutes of that haha.

That sounds wonderful and should have played out extremely well on screen in theory. Unfortunately....

Haha. No. Unfortunately, I've seen, and paid to see, too many fights that were pretty boring. My point was/is that they don't sit their and mirror each other because "they know each other so well" or because they are "brothers."

Like I've said, I like the PT for the most part, I just think the lightsaber battles are too choreographed-looking. If that makes sense. Obviously they are planned out to a T, but some scenes in different movies make it look not as staged. I hope the folks from Raid 2 can make it more real looking.

The scene where Anny and Obi-wan "mirror" each other is just so stupid.

For what its worth, I thought the final fight between Obi-Wan and Anakin in Ep3 was OK, but SOOOOO long and drawn out. Jumping from droid to droid and all that...could have done without any of it.

And I will say, the best acting Hayden did playing Anakin/Vader was when he was burned up and sliding down the bank into the volcano river. He SEETHED with anger and rage.

You should have seen the extended version of that scene.

Well, if there was one. LOL!
