I am anything but a Star Wars fan and I was very quick to say "I don't need to bother even looking at the Star Wars releases" when I began collecting. However, even I am tempted by those Han & Chewie figures together like that!

Lucky! I'm guessing you ordered the 2-pack? I ordered them separately and my final flex on Chewbacca isn't even set to charge until October 25 so I won't be getting him anytime soon.

I have the recently released R2-D2 "figure" and ordered the matching 3PO which is due in December. R2 is fantastic but the price of Hot toys figures means I can't buy too many of them, though I would love to!

I missed out on the Winter Soldier Black Widow, so pre-ordered the Age of Ultron version as well as the new Boba Fett and Ant Man figures; all due next year, so plenty of time to save up. Or so I thought.

I got an email earlier saying that Black Widow has been despatched!!! I'll try and post some pics when she arrives. God knows what my other half is going to say! She only recently found out how pricey these things are!!

Seriously though, just tell her that she can go buy herself something nice too. It works most of the time. It gets tough though when they only have 1 or 2 nice things that they want and you have 4 or 5.

P.S. The word "nice" actually translates as "expensive" in the statement above.

My collecting of these things is on hold. Something unexpected (yet expected) occurred last night and I had to cancel my deal on my Batman w/ Armory set. I cannot stress how amazing the two sellers I've had on Sideshowfreaks have been. I thought the guy who sold me Bane was awesome, but equally awesome is my potential seller of the armory set. He refunded my two payments I made and cancelled the sale without question.

I'm considering selling Bane now. I really don't want to...

Just put your other half up for sale at ebay. You can use the funds for another Pre-order at Sideshow.

That is pretty amazing, I think 95% of people/sellers would be upset to refund money after making a deal like that. I'm happy it worked out for you though.

Oh, and let me know if you decide to let go of Bane, I've been thinking about picking him up.

I honestly can't see how they could do better. The only issue I have is his expression, I wish it had more of his iconic smirk. If you stick to droids and wookies, I guess you won't have to worry about head sculpts though anyway.

Brakes went out on my car and they've been showing signs for a while. I finally bought the parts last week and they are in my trunk ready to be dropped off next Tuesday to a friend's to get fixed. I nearly struck two vehicles but was able to pull onto the median and took out a street sign, ran over a tree, and crashed into another. Very minimal front-end damage, but it had to be towed due to a severed brake line and the other issue. Can't afford to get it until tomorrow. And then have it towed again. Been such a nightmare, but I was damn lucky.

I'm not keen on the Han sculpt either, it just doesn't capture Harrison Ford for me. The Luke figures are spot on though
