The pics of the big deluxe “Gift Set” shows that it comes with a 3D round tin, but that’s still stock photos. At the same time, unboxing videos from Asia show it coming with a standard BD case in a slipcase.
The only place I see where you can still order the 3D tin is Best Buy. Walmart is out of stock as is Amazon. I didn't check Target. They might still have it. After seeing the Tins posted above for the other two films I think I just lost interest. Might just be getting the regular 3D version with the slip.

Huge potential for this to be a 10$ item on Black Friday or the 2d version most likely. Must wait till then...

Has anyone successfully received a Cinema Now code w/ a Best Buy preorder for any JW item other than the standard 2D edition (even if an email to CS was necessary)? Or are they only honoring the promo for the plain 2D version?

They did originally have the CinemaNow deal with the tin edition but then they recently switched it to the 2D Amaray case edition.

The standard slipcover is nice though. Very nice finish on it with slight embossing. They also don't come with the BB sticker slapped on them.

Thanks for posting early pictures as always, really appreciate it every time you do it.

I got it with 3D in-store. The card says 3D edition on it and I'm getting the shirt and I got the cinemanow code on Oct 1.

I'd like to take a moment to whine about the cover art. I wish they could have either matched it to the single-editions of the other three movies, or made it like the JP3D cover with the new gate.

I was thinking the same thing. I work during the day and probably wont be able to pick it until Thursday. Plus, is the t-shirt available for the standard Blu-Ray or just the 3-D version? I don't want to pre-order and not able to get the t-shirt because its sold out or a only so many available for each store.

I don't know if I'm making stuff up, or I saw a picture somewhere, but I thought the blu & t-shirt offer were packaged together in a box of some kind for the BBY exclusive?
I'm also bummed 'cause I bought the new iPhone last week which was a little over $400, but they didn't get my BBY points! I just found out today and have already reported the missing points. I'm hoping that with my other points I already have I can get JW for free!
I'm not thrilled about the tin cans, but JP is my favorite franchise. They're unique enough that I'm pretty much getting them for collecting purposes. No doubt I've bought each film PLENTY of times. I have the steelbooks on my shelf. Which is why I plan to import the one for JW. Although, would've been nice to just get it at BBY.
While all the exclusives are somewhat lackluster, I thought earlier today that I at least appreciate them. They're no steelbook, but it made me think that if I actually WENT to Jurassic World, I could very well see me buying a t-shirt, a tote bag, maybe a lunchbox, and some posters. It all fits in with "theme park" merchandise. Not so bad when you think about it like that!

From Best Buy's website:
For most eligible purchases, your points will post to your account approximately 15 days from your purchase date, delivery date or shipment date

Haha, thanks for the heads up. I actually knew that. I don't know why I said last week. I purchased it on 9/27. I had to dig up my receipt to make sure when I did it and that they didn't take my BBY card number. I reported the points. Sorry about the confusion.

LMAO! Hell yeah! Stone Cold ET likes to get a little bit of White Castle. They got their little bitty burgers. What? Their little bit of onions. What? The only thing that Stone Cold ET likes more than White Castle is kickin' Vince McMahon's ass! Oh hell yeah! Hell yeah, and a little bit of Jurassic World on Blu-ray. What?

Thanks!

I wish the figurine set didn't come with the tin. I think that's what's holding me back from getting that. Maybe I'll just go with the steelbook and wait for the figurines to go down in price.

I went to do my pre-order and no free t-shirts. At least in my area. I got off the phone at BB and the lady told me that I can go into my store and do a pre-order there and maybe get my free t-shirt then. (yeah right!!). My local BB never does anything like that. If not I'm not sure what do to. They want me to pay for shipping on a free t-shirt. Nothing on the website about limited supply. Just says...Jurassic World T-Shirt (Large) (Only @ Best Buy) Gift with Purchase. Most would think (including myself) that the t-shirt is included in the packaging not total separate. I have bought concert DVD/blu-rays in the past that has the t-shirts with the DVD why not in this case?

I got a preorder card from my local Best Buy and the instructions say to return the card with the receipt to get the movie and the shirt. So, I'm thinking you get the shirt on 10/20 and not before. I'm hoping everyone that preorders it gets a shirt. If they are going to advertise it as such they better follow through!

Morningtoke, if you are able to, what are the dimensions of the actual tins (diameter across, and width)? I have a fun idea for these and just wondered if you knew or could measure for me. Thanks!
