Target has been having some glitches with pre-orders for the past couple weeks. It will sometimes either not apply the free shipping or the 5% discount or both. The issue has been on specific movies and resolved itself a couple days later and people just made new orders.

My B&N order moved from a Sept 24th date to a Sept 16th date. That’s a good sign!

Yeah, I just barely managed to get a backup order in for one copy of each steelbook in case my initial pre-order from Deep Discount falls through or gets cancelled.

And then once I went back to the item page, they were already "sold out."

I suspect it's scalpers hoovering up large numbers of copies.

I was religiously checking Wal-mart's site last night, as one does, and was shocked when it showed in-stock. By the time I moved to complete the order it was already sold-out again. I now have orders with B&N and Target. I can breathe now.

Nah, I'm happy to wait.

I want to know how's the HDR grade and if they atmoused it, because if so then the Blu-ray is still pretty perfect to me.

I’m literally in bed and just rolled over to check at the exact minute it switched to sold out. I hate Target anyway, but now only Amazon remains and it’s just going to be the same as the others since they’ve left the pages just sitting there for 2 days now for the bots to pounce on. This is horrible. My MU order is still active and I haven’t heard any more reports of cancellations, but I really want a second order if possible in case they cancel during the next 10 days. Returning with Amazon is easy where I live.

You're in Europe though, right? You'll have an easily accessible standard edition available well after release day.

This limited edition steelbook is all we get in the US, sadly.
