Hand cannons are pretty cool. They're not my main go to weapon, but they are powerful guns. You should try them out just to see how they feel.

ive tried them a few times. just dont care for them. they're just to slow for me.

I love em. Red Hand IX with Zen Moment and Third Eye is my goto weapon right now. Precision Kills all over the place.

I used to favor the Shadow Price AR, but am really digging this HC

My gift was a gun I already had, oh well, free energy.

How are people finding that common gun that upgrades to an exotic? Is it just from killing knights during a ritual? I've never come across one yet.

I got the Husk one on earth, killing the Blade guy underground with a few rockets....On a Level 4 Titan.

People farm the blade knight at the beginning of the first DLC mission on Earth. Either this, or wander th cosmodrome and/or the moon for them. Farming the mission is faster. I got both of mine from simple random encounters in the cosmodrome while farming bounties.

My luck continued today, as I got:

And

It all evened-out at my two CE raids tonight, where all I got was one pair of gloves and lots of shards/energy. Can't complain, though.

One thing about doing the bounties here is that you are not competing with any one else for it wether it's to kill the sword bearer or kill x amount with the sword.

I got this today too and promptly dismantled it. It was my second one. It's a primary shotgun which really is not all that great at least for me anyway.

As an exotic primary shotgun, it's not that good. I had a 300 one and even with the exotic perk to increase range & crit hits forget about it in PvE & PvP it's laughingly useless. Shard it.

Thanks Jafo. I gave it to my Hunter who is short on Legendary weapons. I'm wondering if it'll be better than the Monte Carlo, which I haven't been too impressed with.

Great raid run x 3 the past few days with the guys. My week for all 3 gaurdians was pretty lackluster from previous weeks. Only cool drop I got was the raid helmet for my Hunter. I'll level that up so she can get back to level 32.

thinking i'm going to have to bite it and start running strikes w/my hunter just so i can get some decent armor for him.

still sitting @ level 26.

ran the daily the last couple of days and weekly w/him and didn't get squat.

is anyone running a VOG raid this week anytime?? hopefully i could get something for him in there that will push me high enough so i can start running him for Crota.

any :armor upgrades" i've gotten from missions have been rare or uncommon. i haven't had a purple engram in over a month.

I'm about to hit Rank 3 on Crucible, any suggestions on which weapon to buy? I also have New monarchy to rank 3 so I could use the Crucible Recommendation to buy a weapon from them.
Depending on what perks they are being offered with, I think it's either going to be:
TFWPKY 1969 - Hand Cannon
Y-09 Longbow Synthesis - Sniper Rifle
Vanquisher VIII - Auto Rifle (Already have it but old version and in my opinion, one of the best AR's)
