Received:
Ares 3D Steelbook: Imported from Amazon DE and I would swear on my first born son’s life that Amazon claimed this was exclusive to Amazon and included either English subtitles or an English soundtrack. Keep in mind I cannot have children but the website now says it is a “former Amazon exclusive” and there are no English options. I can’t decide whether to keep it or return it. I studied German for 4 years in school but I’m far from proficient but the movie looks good. If I open it to see if there ARE English subs then I can’t return it!

Big Foot Jr. 3D Imported from Amazon DE and again, the packaging indicates no English even though Amazon indicated that it did when I pre-ordered it back in October.

Saving Santa 3D: Looking forward to this one.

I’ve been very fortunate that this is the first time this has ever happened and I import MAMY 3D Blu-rays. Maybe I should just watch to enjoy the 3D and hope I can follow what’s going on. Big FootbJr should not be a problem but with Ares being a sci-Fi movie I’m not so confident.

I just finished watching Tron Legacy 3D.

Must have seen it hundreds of times by now but I still love this movie! Even though the 3D is medium for the most part, it definitely works and truly emerges you into the Grid.

Such a shame a sequel will never be made...

Just watched "Call of Heros". If one likes martial arts films from Hong Kong that resemble American westerns you will be in for a real treat

The 3D was good. Now, I will admit this was not a movie in which 3D was necessary to enhance the plot or get one more awed with special effects. But what it did accomplish was to make watching the film more fun!

Returning it across the Atlantic probably won't be worth it, financially speaking. If you do open it, please let us know if it has an English option.

i watched Ballerina in 3d, and i thought the 3d had mild layers, it does look nice but nothing special, i wish they better with the 3d.

One thing i noticed in the Setup Menu (which really sucks) on the Hong Kong release of Ballerina is that while the Cantonese audio is in lossless Dolby TrueHD 5.1 (set by default in the Setup Menu), the English audio gets a lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 EX track which is a shame cause i would of preferred to have the English in lossless audio as well, but oh well.

But wasn't this the sequel to Tron? A third movie would make it a trilogy.

Bigfoot Jr 3D has only a German soundtrack/subs but I watched a bit and the 3D is strong (on par with Thunder and the House of Magic).

There is a messy workaround for those of us who can only speak English: I ordered the Bigfoot Jr DVD from the UK with an English track & same runtime. I did this successfully once before with “Atrapa La Bandera 3D” from Spain & “Capture the Flag” from the US. It requires two Blu-ray players and most likely two televisions but I watched the 3D disc on my JS9500 + 4K UJD player then I put the English 2D Blu-ray into a second player hooked to my LG and started both at the same time (which is the tricky part). After some tweaking though I had a 3D film with an English soundtrack! Not pretty but it worked!

I could not find a Son of Bigfoot or Bigfoot Jr 2D Blu-ray so audiophiles won’t like the DVD sound quality I’m sure!

Technically it's a sequel, but this was really meant to reboot the series and be a new trilogy.

The original is old enough that this doesnt count as a true sequel. Like 50 shades movies comming out every year or two.

Other great ones one have been finishing the John Carter trilogy , or making Dredd sequel.

I bought Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Blu-ray 3D. I watched the traditional 2D showing in theater so I thought it would fun to check out the 3D.

Can someone give me the real scoop on Blade Runner 2049 3D? Is it worth the purchase? Thanks!

Hi CSM,

Those David Attenborough sets are priceless (not in $ terms)

Don't have Amazing Ocean but so many others on the underwater world.

Hey Joe!
They really are. I may rank these among my favorite of 3d documentaries. Beautiful stuff. I’ve been through about an hour of The Kingdom of Plants and most of the Micro Monsters. Gorgeous! I’ve been skimming through these all night. Loving it.
