Slept over eurocrime offer. Took too long time to consider if should wait Terror Express(which is flick wanting most by DF) to be released before making 1st DF order..well no need to think about it anymore...Hoping either crimes is bundled with "train" then...

Apparently it's an issue with the replication process; even people who got an order in are going to have to wait for it to be delivered. But they'll get a magnet as compensation. The dark forces strike again.

With all the recent eurocrime releases, is there any chance of seeing The Master Touch aka A Man To Respect on blu-ray? It's always been one of my favorite '70s heist movies plus it has a great cast (Kirk Douglas, Florinda Bolkan and Giuliano Gemma).

We started selling the title last Sunday because we were told by our replicator both REDNECK and LIALEH was ready as of last Friday. So we opted to stop selling it until we have it in our hands which will very likely be next week. We haven't even shipped one of them yet so no one said anything about it being scarce. Yes, yes I do. HOWEVER, a formal announcement about what happened would be helpful rather than having everyone speculate as to what happened. I guess this is good enough.

He's not lying about 1 for sure. They haven't shipped any of them out yet...
Usually you list something as in stock, when its in your hands, but not this time, huh...

Very true...the one time we were told they would be ready on Friday and we were going to pick up on Monday so we put up for sale on Sunday only to find out Monday morning they weren't even replicated yet! Needless to say the Dark Forces were quite upset...which can be a very bad thing. So we will likely never do that again even though we will have REDNECK in our hands pretty fast. Missing a street date or release date in this business is real No-No and any parties responsible for this can be on the receiving end of the full wrath of the dark forces.

A replicating machine not working properly. Hmmm, this worries me. Glitches and problems are on the rise across many labels. I wonder if faulty replication is the cause. I wouldn't put it past a replicator to sign discs off as QC checked without actually checking for issues. Time is money in this business, right?

With so many physical media plants shutting down it makes sense the quality will drop in existing ones to save costs. Not much incentive to improve when you are one of the only games in town.

Put it up for preorder, people need to learn to stop freaking out when their order doesn't ship immediately.

A lot of discs are currently replicated across the border in Mexico, we need more plants spun up in the US.

Stop assuming Cinema84 it had nothing to do with that. Their machine that creates the blu-ray master had ceased working. They had to out source the masters which has been done and now they are being replicated. With all our years of replicating titles we have never had an issue with a faulty run. That would take a lot of serious screwing up of which doesn't happen at Dark Force...or heads would roll.
