I always liked the Red Sonja main theme song and I was surprised to hear he just recycled it from his Hundra score.

I know Bill is going through a lot right now and hope he gets better; in the meantime,. I think I speak for most code red fans in saying I appreciate dark force being there to fill the void of releases in the spirit of code red.

So is dark force reopening again today? Their facebook posts keep saying "this weekend" from a few days ago up til yesterday do they mean this coming weekend? Either that or they are surprise opening some point today with little to no warning beforehand. I'm going to assume they're gonna do it at 2 pm PST like last sunday

Darkforce charging ebay prices, and in some cases MORE than ebay prices for their own shit makes me kinda embarrassed to still be supporting these clowns, but oh well.

For what? The most expensive things I see are OOP titles for 35 or 40.

Is that why they sell instantly because we are charging ebay prices or more than ebay prices?? How does that even make sense. Even the ebay high price listings don't sell anywhere near instantly. And this guy is calling us clowns. But what this guy and others like him are going to do is cause us to stop selling the rare stuff we get in low quantity period. It's no great benefit to us and perhaps too aggravating for people to deal with.

Yeah, I completely agree with this, including the clown reference. I was debating going for the two pack Blue Monkey/ Redneck, but even with the bundle, the prices are outrageous. Decided to go with Ronin's Spit on Your Grave LE instead.

That Blu Monkey / Redneck 2 pack is $50.

How is that expensive?
I regularly pay $23 - $33 for Scorpion titles at Ronin.
Paid $27 each for Shouts site exclusives Streetwalkin, Caged Heat/Jackson County, Attack of the Crab Monsters and Deathsport.
The new norm seems to be $25 - $30 for most boutique label stuff. If anything, DF is right in line.
If you want cheap movies go shop at Kino, or find a new hobby.

Prices were so high you went with something else that was priced even higher. Logic checks out...

So you see no problem with gouging your customers by charging $40 for Just Before Dawn, Sole Survivor, The Unseen? When Vinegar Syndrome find leftover copies of OOP titles, they put them up for their original prices. They don't charge their fanbase ebay flipper prices. But hey man, you guys go ahead and run this shit however you see fit.

Ah. Would've been easy to pass up at that price. I have the original Blu-ray but I wouldn't mind upgrading to the new one at the original price.

Sure man whatever you say. I can't remember the last time I paid the exorbitant prices you consider 'normal'. Wait, that would be Opera, and that really wasn't worth it, as it was originally advertised as something else. I love the few who parrot the Defalco line that these Z grade titles are somehow worth the premium that they expect. I've built a CR collection that includes most every title including DVDs, and this collection is nowhere near $25-30 a title. I got Sole Survivor for the price it should be, ~ $16. You need to go brainstorm parroting points with Ruined.

Logic and Ruined.... Good one!
