Born to be Wild was pretty impressive, I was hoping it'd be longer but some of the scenes were amazing

I'll probably still pick it up, I've heard more positives than negatives but as with any movie there are many differing opinions

Just picked up a sealed copy of Top Gun 3D from a forum member here, haven't had a chance to watch it, but I can't wait to see how the 3D on it is...
I have always had the 5010!

Bought:
Monsters, Inc.
My Bloody Valentine

Watched:
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter
Enjoyed it just as much as I did in the theater. Train scene was so awesome.

Men In Black 3
Again, loved it second time around, 3D very well done.

I LOVE that film. Yes it's utter muck, but a major guilty pleasure and the 3D is outstanding and as you say definitely one of the best out there.

Watched Hugo and Pirates Band of Misfits.

Enjoyed both movies. Was pleasantly surprised with Pirates BOM. Reviews indicated
The 3D was so so, but I found it added great depth to the whole claymation style of film. Similar to Paranorman and Coraline, the 3D gave me a greater appreciation for this style of animation as it brought to life the claymation characters.

Was actually disappointed in Hugo. Read so many great things about it that perhaps I was expecting too much. Maybe I would feel different had i seen it when it first came out, but I've seen so many amazing 3D movies lately, that this one didn't seem to stand out to me like I was expecting it to.

Wreck it Ralph. FANTASTIC film and the 3D was pretty good as well.

I don't know how that Brave shit beat it at the Oscars.

Thumbs up Thomas Cruise..

i bought Top gun today, and whilst I am looking forward to going right into the danger zone with Tom and company, I have left watching until tonight, so will leave thoughts on it later.

The quick peek I looked at at the start looks promising.

ps.Yet to watch it but already I have Kenny Loggins stuck in my head..

Haven't watched it yet (soon) but I find your comment interesting.
Do you wear passive or active glasses?
I've been doing the exact same thing too. Seems like the flickering plays havoc with my eyes lately.

Finally watched John Carter. Pleasantly surprised by its 3D presentation. At first thought it looked way too grainy, then when he is sent to Mars, grain was gone so I'm assuming that was the intention of the director for the shots on Earth?

Saw a 10 min clip of "Art of Flight" on VUDU (not in 3D though) but it looked awesome. I wish they release the 3D version in US.

Watched Bolt and Beauty and the Beast. Both are highly recommended.

Bolt
Story - 4/5
Depth - 5/5
Roundness - 5/5
Pop-out - 4.5/5
3D Creativity - 4.5/5

Beauty and the Beast
Story - 5/5
Depth - 4.5/5
Roundness - 1/5
Pop-out - 4/5
3D Creativity - 4/5

I was really surprised by the amount of z-axis movement in Beauty and the Beast. The filmmakers clearly had a 3D vision of their movie from the start. They must have had a background in theater.
