Target

Hey everyone who's wondering how limited the Target steelbook is if you want to know how many copies your local target has let me know your local city where target is and I can check (or just PM me) I did a local scan of my area today and an average amount varies from 22-35 with higher volume stores getting 45-49.

Thanks for the update, I'll still be there when the doors open though just to be sure.

I'm definitely going to be there when the doors open. I got to go into the city anyway for an appointment, so this'll be the first stop. I'm really excited for the movie.

Here you can watch the first 10 minutes of the film BUT it contains an additional dialogue scene between David and Olivia (right after Mia threw her drugs down the well). This scene is neither included in the theatrical cut, nor in the blu-ray. Not even in the extras!!!
Just watched this. I never made it to this in the theater. I was going to blind buy the steelbook and rent it from redbox to see if I wanted to keep it. Now I don't know if that is even worth the hassle. What awful dialogue and acting.

The prologue is pretty mediocre but, the rest of the film is great.

The acting gets way better at the 15-20 minute mark though.

Same here I've lost my interest a little after watching this. Hopefully the rest of the movie is better. For those of you who have seen it is it worth it?

I thought the acting was great. Maybe it wasn't exactly mind-blowing, but through the movie I never once thought "That's some bad dialogue."; I always bought that these were real people.

The original was a fun movie to laugh at. This seems like its trying to be a much scarier alternative. I consider the Evil Dead original more of a comedy so the bad acting is easier to disregard. I prefer the acting for horror movies to be a little better.

I know, right? The original was great, but it had horrible acting. The acting in the reboot isn't Oscar-worthy, but it is certainly much better than the original.

I can see what your getting at since the original is considered slightly cheesy by some people today. But ive totally gotta disagree about the original being a comedy.I'm 32 and still find it rather creepy.of course this is just my opinion.

I don't think of the original as a comedy at all. The acting is bad, but it's still an effective horror film.
