Yeah my says that too. I thought that seemed really strange to have a movies working title on the back of the Blu-Ray release at least a year after they stopped using it.

I love the Big Island for many things but shopping options isn't one of them. No Best Buy, 1 Costco (Kona side only), etc. Oh well, the winters are great! We even had snow a couple of weeks ago. (on Mauna Kea)

I know this was probably answered earlier, but I can't find it. There is a blank spot in my steelbook where a disc should be but isn't. I assume it was produced under the assumption it would be Blu 3d, Blu, and DVD originally? It won't detract from my use that it doesn't include a DVD, but I am annoyed. Almost as much as the Oz Great and Powerful 3D not including a 2d Blu. Disney is really scrimping.

OK Thanks.
I might have to go exchange my Best Buy copy so I can get a vudu.
I like those since they don't take up hard drive space.

Well the Wal-Mart 3D version is only 21.96 right now which is the best price to get it at and if you want to get it at Best Buy you can probably price match it.

Went to Target in the morning they had around 15 copies of the Loki 3D cover and no regular Thor 3D cover. I wasn't planning getting it at Walmart but I did. WM didn't have it on display yet, still on the boxes which I had to ask for it. By 11:15am I passed by Best Buy and there were about 4-5 steelbooks. Target and BBY had a lot of the regular 2D editions. I price match Amazon price at BBY and returned the WM blu-ray (kept the Walmart sticker code ) since I bought it again for the BBY rewards points.

Anyone else find the audio on this release really lacking? It sounds amazing during the action scenes but it's very quiet during the down time in this, not to mention a lack of a score by Taylor.

Anyone know?
It's a separate code which is the sticker on the slipcover.

Thumbs down No slip... What the #&%$@*!?

I haven't been following this thread at all, though I'm sure my gripe has already been discussed herein ad nauseam, but I'm going to add my whiny two cents anyway... I finally saw the new Thor 2 release in various stores this evening, and was completely dumbfounded that the standard BD release doesn't come with a slip. What the hell?!? Aside from when Silver Linings Playbook (briefly) didn't come with one, I don't recall this ever happening on a mainstream, top-of-the-line BD release in my several years of collecting blu's.

I'm far from the obsessive slip junkie that some folks 'round here are (no offense), but I certainly try to get slips whenever possible, to the point that the few BDs I have that are missing (formerly available) slips rather annoy the crap out of me. I hadn't really given much thought to the Target exclusive Loki version, but I can clearly see now why it was sold out at all 3 Targets I went to tonight.

I realize Disney's been doing some strange things with their slips and BD releases lately (no traditional blue cover for Jungle Book, Lone Ranger, Planes), but was there an official explanation given anywhere as to why Thor 2 is currently slipless, and if a cover may be forthcoming later on down the line? Just curious...

Can't decide between the regular 3D or Target exclusive, which seems to be plentiful in my area. Someone persuade me Regular fits with the rest of the MCU releases better, but an exclusive is an exclusive…

Most of them are are on you tube! They have time codes and VFX company notes in the black borders.

All Hail the King is pretty good. If it hadn't been spoiled for me already, it would have been better. The
[Show spoiler]Caged Heat stuff and the Sean Connery dig
were the best parts.

The Winter Soldier First Look wasn't much of a "first look". Most of it was previously released footage. I am suprised how deep ScarJo's voice is, for such a tiny lass. She sure is yummy though.

I really wonder what the odds are of
[Show spoiler]"Trevor" being the act and he truly is Mandarin.

I dunno, it feels like Disney kind of cheapened out on this release. The single disc is complete garbage with no dvd/dd/slip. The other is decent but not including the dvd was lame. It got me to thinking that maybe they read these forums/ebay and see people selling those extra items (dvd/dd) as cutting into there profit margin. We shall see i guess.
