Euphoria will be released on DVD by WB/HBO as a HMV exclusive on 28th November.

HBO Max series The Staircase will be released on DVD on 12th December.

Importers may wish to get the US releases of In Front Of Your Face and Both Sides of the Blade - the former is DVD only from New Wave in the UK (hitting VOD and ‘cinemas’ in a week), while Curzon are unreliable with discs for the latter.

Given its popularity and Emmy's success, very surprising that Euphoria hasn't been given a blu-ray release. Especially given how cinematic the visuals are.

A few directors helmed episodes in S1 but showrunner Sam Levinson (son of Barry!) directed the bulk and then the entirety of S2.

So if this is a TV series that we are talking about, then DVD only is not unusual. Dazzler Media with their DVD only titles are to lazy to include a chapter menu.
Given that broadcast TV is High Def, the HD original clearly exists so it is clearyl 'Oh... we are to lazy to finish the job off and create a blu-ray'

It’s literally shot on film. HBO make some very odd home video decisions. They do the same with Succession. I just wait for the potential complete series set and hope it’s on Blu-ray. Was annoying when they did the first two seasons of The
Deuce on Blu-ray but the third season was DVD (same for Big Little Lies). And a show like The Righteous Gemstones isn’t available on Blu-ray (nor is Vice Principals in the UK) but you can get every season of Eastbound & Down on the format!

Perhaps it’ll take a big label like Criterion to license some of them and do them justice? They don’t often do TV stuff though and no doubt people would moan.

Natural Light (Természetes fény), released in the UK by Curzon, has a Hungarian Blu-ray with multilingual subtitles.

Red Rocket has a French Blu-ray from Le Pacte, with a 23 minute interview with Simon Rex offered as an extra

Boiling Point now also has a French Blu-ray which came out last month as a FNAC exclusive:

The listing at FNAC says it has French and English: DTS-HD MA 5.1 tracks and French subtitles, but doesn't indicate if the subtitles are forced. The listing also says extras are a 30-minute making of and 20-minute "interview with a chef". This is from UFO Distribution and will presumably get a wide retail release in France at some point, though it may take 1-2 years.

There will also be a Region A or possibly region free release in Japan on January 11th, 2023, from Happinet:

https://happinet-p.com/jp3/releases/HPXR-1996

The specs currently say it will have English: DTS-HD MA 5.1 and a Japanese: DTS-HD MA 2.0 dub, with Japanese subtitles, and that extras are a 39-minute making of (note the different run time) and a trailer, but Happinet's site listings have been known to have inaccurate specs before, so be sure to keep checking to see if the specs change.

A Boy Called Christmas now has a DVD up for preorder from Sky Cinema, thankfully it’s on Blu-ray in Germany.

Parkland will release Juniper starring Charlotte Rampling on DVD on 9th January 2023. It also has a German Blu-ray.

Isn't Second Sight putting out Boiling Point for the UK? Don't think there was an official announcement, just a hint on their twitter.

No idea, but if so, that's great news. The film sounds very intriguing.

Unless I missed it, The Liberator was never released to blu-ray in the UK or any other country? All I could find was a UK DVD release dating back to 2017

Yeah they are but there's been no more info other than they're releasing it. If you're in the UK it's on Netflix atm.

Looks like the delightful Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris will be DVD only from Universal, would have been nice to see Dazzler or Mediumrare do a Blu-ray.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mrs-Harris-...dp/B0BDN3MZ27/

Mediumrare will release rise of the Nazis/Holocaust documentary Final Account on 31st October.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the US Blu-ray is region free, but that’s not confirmed and not everyone wants to have to import.
