Quickly compared DV on iTunes and HDR10 on disc. DV looks a bit better and controlled in highlights and blacks over HDR10 aka the expected benefits dynamic metadata brings.

Of all the Sony light canon grades this one is my favorite and fits the material well. A batshit crazy HDR grade for a batshit crazy movie.

It's nice that when Sony releases a 4K title there's a good chance they will provide updated video specs. Now I need to go look and see if the Gattaca repress will be getting a DV upgrade too.

Exactly. With as many mistakes as we've seen from the studios with UHD I'm definitely holding onto mine. I can't utilize DV anyway.
