Do you have your titles cataloged anywhere online to view like collections here? I get "recommendations" from others when we have similar tastes. I look through their collection and find new titles to read up on our pick up.

I just log them on a spreadsheet mate. Mainly so I don't buy something twice. Based on your wants list and talking previously, I think we have similar tastes.

Can you list your VHS Collection? Your VHS collection could put Red Letter Media and James Rolfe to shame

The slip for SLASHDANCE / HOLLYWOOD'S NEW BLOOD is sold out, but there are plenty of copies of the Blu-ray left.

Am sure Deadly Obsession has been brought up before on here. And have also checked out on the IMDb The Perfect Bride (a TV film from 1991?), seen in the picture you posted above Joel. Both sound very good, Deadly Obsession especially.

Seeing those pieces of paper/card clipped on the front cover artwork of the various VHS titles in the pictures you've posted on here recently takes me back to the days of going to the local 'video shop' to rent out films (one of the pieces of artwork which has always stuck in my mind was for A View to a Kill). I think they were put on video cases for films which had been rented out by other people.

Did Perfect Victims (1988), whose cast included Deborah Shelton, get a UK VHS release?

The trailer for FAR FROM HOME is great! Drew Barrymore in her super hot era.

Originally released by Vestron, and Lionsgate did put it out on DVD.

I'll look into it!

Definitely fantastic, and it has one of the most likable final girls in the entire subgenre. The actress actually went on to be a successful director, even casting her nemesis from this film in one of her's. There’s also an especially strong scene in a darkened gymnasium.

Joel, I actually just revisited Far From Home towards the end of last year. It was anHD transfer I rented off of satellite. Think I enjoyed it even more this time around. Love that desert atmosphere. Andras Jones should've been in more movies. The karate scene from The Dream Master is a top five scene of the series for me. Do you know if Cursed 1990 was ever released in the UK? I'm thinking not, but it could've slipped under my radar. Like Mirage and Hanging Heart, it never received release in North America. Deeply undervalued film IMO, bashed because of it's budget.

***CULTURE SHOCK RELEASING***

My name is Jason Bene and I do behind-the-scenes work for Culture Shock. Daniel Del Pozzo is the owner of the label, and he and I have been friends for 14 years and counting. We both share a love for cinema, having been to many conventions and screenings together. We're even extras in a pair of Fred Olen Ray flicks... a dream come true.

CS had an amazing 2-year run with OCN Distribution, which allowed us to grow and make friends along the way.

We wanted to spread our wings and move forward and there are no hard feelings between us.

You will not have to wait long to find out what the future holds for Culture Shock Releasing, and the best is yet to come!

There’s a new press release regarding OCN, new labels we have coming up this fall, as well as more on what’s happening with Culture Shock.

Like many others, I'm disappointed by Culture Shock leaving. I have most of their releases, like I did Terror Vision before they left. Terror Vision titles now cost close to $50 to get here in Canada and because of this I haven't bought one since. If Culture Shock ends up costing the same, I will unfortunately not be able to continue supporting them either.

These companies should band together and get a warehouse or outlet in Canada to sell them here for a reasonable price. OCN was pretty much that, but maybe they can start up something similar with no restrictions.

They were a great part of the renting experience. 'on loan' tags is what they were known as. I've got various different ones from some closed down stores. They also bring back fond memories for me too mate.

I have the US tape of Perfect Victims. I don't recall seeing a UK tape of it, but I may be wrong.

Brilliant news. I am sure it would pique the interest of a fair few people.

The desert atmosphere is one of the main reasons I liked it. Really made it stand out for me. Enjoyable time waster for sure. Cursed is another that I don't recall ever getting a UK VHS release mate. Hopefully it finds a home on disc soon.

Even if shipping proves too expensive personally (except for the rare indulgence) for your adult tiles, I wish you the best of luck. CS seem to be making a lot of people very happy as of late.
