I fear for the future of this country...
Went to McDonald's...
Ordered 2 frappe... Caramel... Large...
Order came to $8.32
I handed the girl 2 $5 bills
It was taking her a while to give me back my change so I looked to see what she was doing... She was using a calculator to figure out how much to give me back...
$1.68 is not hard!
However... When I got my receipt I noticed that she put in $20 instead of $10...
So, the dumb girl can't even subtract properly either...

I was surprised by the good deal at the movies today. I got a large soda and a large popcorn for $9.

A few days ago I started reading this book "Empire of the Summer Moon". It's about what happened to certain Tribes of Natives when Caucasians were coming further west. It makes me angry, even though I know the outcome. The writing is excellent, but the subject matter kills me. It's a finalist for The Pulitzer Prize, so i should finish it. It'll be tough though.
This other book I picked up at the airport, "The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A F**K" is what I should be reading. It's a Number 1 bestseller and would probably come in handy right about now. My moods are dark and this may help me turn that around.

I did do it but unfortunately the only hot one is this girl that used to be a server but now it appears she might be a manager. I only mention race because you know how I am...a flaming racist

nah but I think she might be Hispanic or maybe just a brunette (European ancestry). She is quite attractive though!

I've noticed a lot of people accusing other people of "trolling" when in reality they are being sincere. They just want to get the information without asking a million times. My conclusion is this: the accusers come off as having low intelligence. I mean, look at the type of media this forum deals with.

thinking about one of our offices.

it's on the island of Dominica. and they got hit pretty damn hard by the hurricane. nobody's heard from anyone from that office since the hurricane hit.

hope everybody there is ok.

Have people actually been trying to get through and no one is picking up? My thinking, the reason I ask, is because if no one is actually trying and failing to get a hold of them, maybe it's not so bad. They just haven't thought to contact you guys. But if people from your office are trying to reach them and they can't, that could be bad.
