If this were 20 years ago, I'd suggest go the Microbudget film making route and use Film Ends - but they probably dont do that anymore.

I know film is out of style but people who make movies nowadays should really try to avoid making their films look like a Best Buy showroom demo. I'm far less likely to check out a new film shot on video if it actually looks like video. Yuck.

I definitely want to go the film route. I also realistically feel like this work of future goodness is going to be 2nd in line of releases. Probably going to have to do something smaller and lower budget as a proving ground. There's also stuff like GoFundMe but I wouldn't feel comfortable asking for money help unless I was already in full production, shooting, and have something of substance to give confidence in those that are trying to help. One of the ways I'm saving good money is being the lead actor myself. I wasn't too keen on it, I'm camera shy, and have zero acting experince. Always been a behind the scenes person. Over time with smaller projects and live streams, I've learned the camera gets less intimidating as time goes on and after a while you often forget it's even there. To me anyway. As far as me acting, I'm writing it to fit my personality, so I'm really ultimately just being myself but more extreme and over the top with no filter. Which should help. I thought about making a faux trailer starting out to give an idea to people where I was going with this as a good visual. Not sure on that though. I also want the violence to realistic as well. When someone's head is cut off for instance, I'm not going to have blood spraying everywhere. As bad as it sounds, for a while I was watching uncensored ISIS execution videos just to see how blood flowed from those that they killed. As well as other unrelated death videos. Although I dont plan on me being a bad guy in the movie, but I'm going for realism as much as possible.

I guess I won't know until the time comes to start acting if I can show some acting skills. I'll probably right now start focusing on something I can do in 15 mins for the film festival in the future. Can't do much now because of Covid other than write and plan. It will give me time to figure something out. The last festival just ended earlier this month it seems, so almost another year to do this. Thankfully most that will help are around the area where the festival is.

BLACK FRIDAY/TERROR EXPRESS-only at the Dark Force Station. It's the most anticipated cult home video release of the year on the biggest sales day of the year. Don't miss out, limited inventory on very special deal. It's Last House On The Left on a train but heavy on the sex, rape and depravity. It's got a piercing music score and a bevy of gorgeous women including the dynamic Sylvia Dionisio and Zora Kerova. Be sure to get your ticket to terror on Black Friday only at Dark Force

After a year and a half of advertising this release, what kind of Black Friday hoops are we going to have to jump through to get it?

That's an excellent question, Tinman. General Tom again for Dark Force. This is truly a coveted Dark Force release made possible by Banana Man. The Demon had to go to great lengths to resurrect this long lost brutal gem. The lucky Dark Force club members will be getting it shipped immediately when available but everyone else will have to see what the dark lords have in store for Black Friday...a holiday appropriately named for this release and company.

As long as I can secure a copy after all that wait and bait time, that's all I care about.

Only way to secure a copy, it seems, is by subscribing to their club. The rest of us will have to clobber our way to the checkout in the middle of an undisclosed night

Considering their last release was a XXX film 'LIALEH' and one of their latest announcements was 'Butch Camp'...I guess I'll be clobbering my way to the checkout on an undisclosed night.

I want Lialeh, but $35 for a bare-bones release seems stiff in all the wrong ways.

"This devilishly nasty German horror flick was an obvious take-off of THE EXORCIST fame. From the director of School Girl Report, Walter Boos, it was re-issued in the US in 1976 under the title THE DEVIL'S FEMALE. It was also under the titles in the US of BEYOND THE DARKNESS and MAGDALENA, POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL. Either way this one delivers on all the exploitation goods for demonic possession movies. Brand New Hi-Def Master with Color Correction. COMING EARLY 2021 FROM DARK FORCE!"

Less buying games and more grindhouse releases means Dark Force getting more of my wallet.

I'm very curious about this one... it's on my list of films to keep an eye on in 2021 and likely one I'll be ordering pretty much right away.

This one is about as Dark Force as it gets. Of course anything to do with the Devil or The Exorcist is going to be best with us. We definitely had a wide variety of acquisitions this year, but one's like this make the Demon very happy.

Does anyone know if this company's copy of Gates of Hell with the extra film of Psycho from texas will be similar to Scorpions new 4K transfer of this movie? I'm assuming so since Dark Force is affiliated with Code Red but not sure. Roninflix has the new Scorpion scan of Gates of Hell but I already own the Dark Force and Blue Underground one.

Thanks for any ideas/thoughts.

Thank you guys! So is dark force not the way to go for a title unless they are the only one releasing it?
