The only way the Dolphins miss the playoffs is for them to lose and the Ravens, Browns, and Colts to all three win.

Reports are mixed but if it were up to me, I'd keep him. It's only his second losing season (his first was his first season), and frankly, it's still unclear if his play-calling issues were his own fault or a result of having to adapt to Wentz's ineptitude. Get an OC, give Doug a second chance with a new GM and whoever our QB ends up being, and see what happens. It's still very possible for the Dolphins to miss the playoffs, but I can't say enough what it means just to have the Dolphins relevant in the last week of the season beyond just being a spoiler.

Is two seasons the earliest a first round QB has ever gotten released? Usually they stick with the QB for too long because of how much they invested in him, or at least try to trade him for peanuts.

Johnny Manziel, Dwayne Haskins, Paxton Lynch, Brandon Weeden.
