Wow, even in just 720p, The Aristocats looks incredible. It's clear much effort went into restoring it. If The Rescuers looks as good as this, then I think it'll be safe to say the rumors about Disney commissioning every animated classic (up till Little Mermaid, of course) for a thorough cleanup are true. That would make The Fox and the Hound the weakest of the lot, and considering the results of that one are still pretty solid, I think we'll be okay.
Pocahontas looks expectedly excellent as will Rescuers Down Under, I'm sure. The colors do seem a tad muted to me, but it could just be because of the upload. |

Glad you liked it! It's much better than what people are giving it credit for

[Show spoiler] Personally I hope the US releases use the same art as the French ones, although preferrably with a different layout for the 3D blu. It just seems too... spacious. Merida is too small. I'd prefer it to be a little more zoomed in, like this: ![]() |

Aristocats looks like an upscale. Too much dynamic noise reduction has been applied and it looks soft. It needs the film grain to retain the details.

Also interesting, the colours seem to have been muted quite a lot! Odd, considering that other releases such as Alice in Wonderland did the opposite and pumped up the brightness and contrast considerably. |

Also, sad news, Lost my job on Monday and had to cancel some of my preorders. Hopefully I'll get a job by end of July so my August preorders arent in danger! Only ones are The Rescuerers Double pack and Aristocats...so I have some time but you all know the market atm.
