I sometimes get the feeling that the SJ fellas don't really like the MCU and just make these to pay the bills. Their MCU videos are usually the most popular ones.

Anyone know who plays the prisoner that gets pruned in episode one over the ticket? IMDb has nothing and they keep saying there's an Easter egg no one's caught yet, I totally thought that might be Edward Furlong the first time I saw it though...

Why wasn't the TVA sent after 2014 Thanos?
Why didn't they arrest Steve for going after Peggy?
Why didn't Mobius show up in WandaVision?

These events happened after Sylvie killed HWR! Everything in Phase 4 is already part of the multiverse chaos.

Is Black Widow a movie about Sacred Timeline Nat, or is it an alternate timeline? It seems strange that they would include a Civil War-era movie into all this if it's not meant to tie up to the rest of the projects in this Phase.

Or maybe I'm wrong and thinking too much into this.

If you do something that retroactively affects all of time, does it matter when you did it? Did Sylvie start a war that essentially already happened? Does it always take place and at the same time never happened?

Some get annoyed by the weirdness and unanswerable questions. I actually love it. This is going to be a great ride. More variants, please!

I was going to say, you answered your own question, that these events happened AFTER Sylvie killed HWR, that the TVA no longer operated at all or operated the same way. But there was a line in the show about the Avengers traveling through time. And the response was that those events were supposed to happen. So perhaps the answer is those events were supposed to happen, so TVA didn't interfere (assuming they were still operational).

Edit: "After" is also a relative term since she was technically at the end of time, so you could say Sylvie killed HWR AFTER those events, not the other way around.

So at the end, is Loki in a different universe or did Sylvie's actions cause those changes in the same universe? I guess this opens the door for all types of characters that will magically start showing up in the MCU...

Certain markets including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland got a “censored” version of the Avengers Blu-ray in which we hear the stabbing and Coulson’s reaction, but never actually see the blade.

Loki in the films is good, but having not seen the show Loki yet, I'm seeing lots of the same Loki commercials where Loki is often in a state of imprisonment. Even in the movies actually.

So what does that say about Loki? Either that's his way of infiltrating enemy bases, or he's a total incompetent villain who can't seem to not get captured.

It reminds me of the old show Daniel Boone, starring Fess Parker. Literally almost every episode, he's getting captured by the enemy to the point you question his intelligence to keep out of enemy range. What a dumb ass is the constant thought at that point.

Is that the case with Loki? He acts like he's so smart but is he?

Yesterday under "recently listed" I saw listings for Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and WandaVision. But then a few hours later they were gone. Not sure what to make of that.

This show turns him into a total puss. In the movies, he can trade blows with Cap and Thor, survive a thrashing from Hulk, and snatch Hawkeye's arrow out of the air. Two weeks ago on another show, he handled OG Ant-Man with no difficulty. But on his own show, he's always getting beat up and pushed around by basically cops with sticks. Not even guns, just sticks.

That stinks they reduced Loki from the sound of it, to being a total wimp most times. A villain who is always being captured and subdued is not a worthy villain IMO, so I'll most likely avoid watching this series if that's how they treat his character. Oh well.

The trailers made me want to avoid it but this would confirm it.

The show isn't very good, on its own merits. For example (no spoilers), a character sets off a nigh-apocalyptic event at the end of one episode, that is simply never even mentioned again. And the "big revelation" at the end is a goofy lecture.

Infinity War is my favorite MCU movie, but elements of it are nerfed completely. And those cops with sticks snatch a royal child from Asgard with little fanfare.

There are some good points. I like the retro-future production design. The character interplay between Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson's character) is great. But overall, it's my least favorite MCU show thus far.

Okay, thanks. So he does have a plan and doesn't just clumsily get caught. That's good to hear at least, even though it's not a great way to see an anti-hero handle his situations.
