Picked up the pack with Treasure of Jamaica Reef and Terror Express, also added Blue Monkey (Insect) and Drive-In #10 with The Black Dragon and Enforcer From Death Row.

I'm a sucker for train and underwater films and kung fu flicks. Blue Monkey is more of a luxury buy then haha.

That pretty much catches me up on the Dark Force releases I'm interested in. Funny thing I noticed recently, after this I'll have more DF releases than I do Synapse, which have been around far longer.

Picked up [I]The Giant Spider Invasion[I] and Teenage Hitchhikers. Great prices. I was bummed when I missed out on the combo package of them a year or so ago. I've only seen Teenage Hitchhikers trailer. OMG it looks like pure 1970s fun!

I’m glad they included Enforcers from Death Row in the double feature, much preferred it to The Black Dragon in a so bad it’s good sort of way

$35 for BLUE MONKEY seems extreme, but it’s one more title I can “x” off my most wanted list. I went for the YETI pack since it sounds like an enjoyably “so bad it’s good” flick. Surprised there aren’t any bonus features on BLUE MONKEY...aside from glossy cardboard that is.

almost 5 months later, and i finally watched Offerings last night.

Couldn't help but laugh at the score which is clearly intended to ripoff John Carpenter's Halloween score. Hell, most of the movie is a knockoff, but an enjoyable one. It may not be the best slasher out there but it was an interesting watch for sure. Glad i own this obscure film on blu ray.

I asked about Primal Rage a few weeks ago and Dark Force told me it was OOP.

Whats weird about that movie is some parts were really bad but I found the last act unsettling and had me a bit on edge. Not sure why but I liked it.

Is The Dead Pit worth owning? I've read it's very stylized with gelled lighting throughout and an underrated horror movie. Is it along the lines of other Dark Force/Code Red fare or one of the better films in their catalog?

It's one of my favorite and most watched Dark Force/Code Red titles. Definitely worth the purchase if you're into zombie films. Cheryl Lawson also looks great running around in her underwear throughout the film.

I really liked that one and would consider it the best film Dark Forces has released and amongst the top of the Code Red/Dark Forces/Scorpion Releases which I group together here on site.

I’ve always considered CR to be the bottom of the barrel. Dead Pit is much elevated than the standard crap Bill puts out.
