Default Titanic Custom Blu-ray cover by Nissen

Just thought I'd show you all a novelty item I did recently.

A client approached me about changing the title of his Titanic cover to "Shinking Ship" instead. He always referred to the movie that way and thought it would be fun to have a cover that reflected that.
(and he wanted the front artwork to be replaced with the DVD artwork while I was at it.)

Imitating the Titanic title treatment took the longest time. I made the 3D extrusions in Illustrator and then turned to Photoshop for hand-painted texturing and highlights.

The world of custom covers is a varied and multi-faceted one indeed

I love it, I'll take three. Pretty humorous idea.

Shinking? Thought you were trying to say 'Shrinking Ship' at first

That is pretty funny. I wonder how many other movies can have names like that.

The Dark Knight: Guy In A Bat Suit Fighting Criminals
Finding Nemo: Talking Fish

Maybe a re-titling for Finding Nemo could be worked from this:

"I just watched a movie where a man's wife is brutally murdered by a serial killer and his son is left crippled. Then in a twisted turn of events, his son is kidnapped and he has to chase the kidnapper thousands of miles with the help of a retarded woman!"

His son was born disabled not left crippled. If they made a live-action Finding Nemo it would be more harrowing than Silence of the Lambs crossed with Memento and Saw. After all Nemo is abducted by a ruthless predator and locked away with other captives with little or no chance of escape, surrounded by other abductees shit and made to watch the evil-scientists sadistic dental torture 9 to 5....

Anybody have some great Gremlins, Gremlins 2, and The Goonies covers to replace the triple pack from Walmart?

WOW! There are some really good custom covers here! Im not interested so much in replacing existing covers because I dont like them but I am interested in saving room on my shelf. I decided to consolidate some of my trilogies and such where the spines dont match into a single case and now I need to find some artwork for these:

Underworld Trilogy for a Viva Elite 12.5mm spine
Transporter Trilogy for a Viva Elite 12.5mm spine
Terminator Anthology for a Viva Elite 15mm spine

This thread is really long so didnt really look that far back to see if anyone had done these. Can someone point me in the right direction if they have been made already?

Use the Criterion template on euphoricfx.org and make sure you use the correct font or a similar font that Criterion uses.

Default James Bond 007 Custom Blu-ray Cover

Well waddayaknow, another Bond cover!

You Only Live Twice finishes this particular Bond assignment (but I still have a few on my books, believe it or not).

These will all be up on CustoManiacs sometime this week.
