Looks like the Westworld Season 3 on 4K dropped to $19.99 -- price matching the super strange Best Buy $30 off.

Getting a bit ridiculous, this is the 3rd day in a row my order has gone "out for delivery". not sure I'm digging this 'Amazon Shipping', especially since I have 3 pending orders over the next couple of weeks. Their shipping guarantee is bollocks

Is there even a Amazon warehouse near you? If you're in Niagara, I don't think there is.

You should contact them and tell them this is going on.

From personal experience, Amazon has been doing weird shit like this for the past couple of years with their delivery people, getting drivers from Mississauga, Vaughn, Georgetown to go to great distances rather than using Canada Post or another carrier that actually services the furthest of areas. Niagara is probably on the cusp of their border. I swear their algorithm for personal delivery service might be geared towards the US, because it sure as hell isn't the same here. We only have like 3 fullfilment centers in the GTA and nowhere else, and the KM between them is huge. I can see a lot of drivers just straight up refusing to drive 100km one way for one package on their own dime. So Amazon is not thinking properly about how to manage this stuff.

Sorry for the rant, but I hate this company so much for what they do to their entire employees around the world.

[edit]
I want to add: I can see that Amazon delivery folks are also over-worked, underpaid as in my apartment building they dump all the packages in the front lobby or mail-room, and if they can't get into the building, then in front of the door. They're obviously racing around trying to drop off the millions of yellow envelopes and the end result is you feel absolutely cruddy for using this service. Everything you buy that might be "expensive" is completely cheapened by how lousy it's handled in the delivery. Seeing the amount of stuff that goes through their warehouses and returned into the dumpster is just perpetuating the idea that what we're buying is ultimately worthless.

okay, I'm done. Hope everyone is doing well

I actually live like 3 blocks away from the warehouse in Mississauga off Mississauga RD. My Blu-rays arrive pretty fast from this one warehouse. I know that they have few fulfilment centers in the GTA.. THings might be different when I move.

Apollo 11 blu-ray is only $6.99 now on Amazon. This is a great film that uses real footage, it had a limited IMAX release last year.

Digital copy redeems onto iTunes too!

Yeah, the closest Fullfillment centre is the one in Mississauga (though the Hammer is getting one in the spring I believe).

I tried to contact customer service via chat but they've either gotten rid of it or they've made it so hard to find, its just an endless loop of FAQ sites and order pages. My wife is in the same boat with something she ordered a week ago. thinking once I get these last orders, it's buhbye to amazon, too much grief from a multibillion dollar corp who should have their sh*t together.

edit: so I did find live chat but I had to go through non-order related issues to bring it up, if its order related then it just sends you to your orders page and says "k bye!"

You should get the 4k version off Ebay. The film was shot in 60mm

FYI, for those who might not know and is thinking of getting the 4K UHD version of Apollo 11, just be aware that the HDR colour grading is kind of screwed up and affects the quality of the image as discussed in reviews and on the forum here:https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...o6J_hVt8BJLF1E

I was looking forward to the 4K release, but for the reasons above I stuck with the regular blu-ray, myself.

So ... we shall see, I guess.
Popeye is back up, btw. $11.99.

WW S3 4K for $20 is INSANE. If I didn't need the digital copy and already preordered the US release I'd get this immediately.

Just got Close encounters and Fifth element 4k from amazon.
Close encounters came with a slipcover and looks wonderful, it's also a bigger case than the normal 4k ones, looks great and makes me miss my blu ray special edition less. :P

It’s an odd sized thick case, and not super thrilled the flipper part has holes on the back for more disc scratchage. Still better than stackers, not sure why UHDs went that route. I have only see similar cases from Arrow. I’m guessing it matches the thickness of a PS5 game case?

Amazon is having a flash sale on A Beautiful Day In The Neighbourhood (4K UHD + Bluray) listed at $14.99. Grab it while you can, and if you haven't added this to your collection.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B081JNYDSN/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3DWYIK6 Y9EEQB

EDIT: Back to $18.99. That didn't even last an hour Maybe a tease for Friday? It had a timer of 22hrs when I first saw it, hm...

Sony uses the oddest case choices.

My MIB set is stacked but thinner. I got the new Equalizer 2 pack and it is a FAT stacked case.

Jumanji set and Bad Boys set uses two different types of stacked cases as well.

I found out when I went to swap cases and the Bad Boys art was too big for a standard 3 disc flipper case but I had a UK style 3 disc flipper case that fit it fine.

I had no issue with the Jumanji set when I transferred that over to a normal 3 disc flipper case.
